My boyfriend and I were shopping for the perfect stone and setting for an engagement ring. We looked at jewelers all over New England & NY, but we made our final stop at Bellman’s per a family friend recommendation. The entire Bellman staff made us feel like family; warm, welcome and inviting from the moment we stepped in the store. I might add that we arrived close to closing time, and they stayed a full 2 hours after close to sit down in a private room and review what exactly we were looking for. All we had for reference point was a photo from Instagram to work with… Alex and David knew exactly what I wanted and designed the most beautiful, spectacular ring of my dreams via a CAD design drawing (a computer aided design rendering of what the finished product would look like). David found and ordered the stone direct from Israel the next day, and brought us into see it in person. It was more than what we hoped for – the color, brilliance and cut were stunning! He even set aside time to allow my parents to come in and view the stone at a separate time. The enthusiasm that they show for their job and their profession, is second to none. The entire staff treated us like VIPs. It is a real team approach when building a diamond. David employees only the very best experts to create a flawless and beautifully crafted ring. Along with the ring, we were given an Aquasonic jewelry cleaner, which uses state of the art technology to clean and disinfect the entire ring. I’ve been to the finest jewelry stores in Boston and NYC, and Bellman’s blows them all away! I will be recommending them to anyone looking for quality stones, perfect workmanship, and a team that really is eager to have their customers happy for life.

Best jeweler in Manchester. I am having a custom engagement ring created for the most important person to ever be part of my life. They treated it as such and worked with us for months to create the perfect piece. Custom ordered stones and a handcrafted one of a kind setting, all which we could view on a 3D CAD (computer drawing) before purchasing.

I had been in contact with about 10 jewelers, and visited about 6. I stopped at Bellmans as they were on my route to visit the girlfriend-​I wasn’t expecting much, as I had not seen much prior to that. Turns out I had a wonderful experience with Lisa B; she found the perfect setting I was looking for, and lo and behold, they actually had good, quality stones! I was amazed-​all the other shops were trying to sell me anything they could to get me out the door (when a jeweler says ‘oh, that is perfect’ about 8 times, you know they are full of it). I had no pressure, Lisa and I talked and joked a bit, and it was a wonderful experience. I actually scolded her for making me go to all the other places when i could have just saved time if I came to Bellmans first:). As time was an issue (this was about 2 days prior to Christmas and I wanted to present it on Christmas), Lisa went above and beyond the call of duty to see the stone was mounted and delivered prior to Christmas. I was amazed. The bottom line: a great experience far above any expectations, quality merchandise, and personable assistance. I will do all my jewelry shopping with Lisa at Bellmans.

I had to buy a ring pretty quickly in Manchester when I was home for the holidays. Jordyn walked me through the process and gave me so many good recommendations. I found Bellmans on Unilocal and would recommend it to anyone who is in the market for jewelry. My specific buy was an engagement ring and I can honestly say that it is the most unique and beautiful ring I’ve seen on any finger to date. And that’s all thanks to Jordyn! The day after I bought the ring, I was at the mall and was fake-​shopping to see how I did on price. If you’re considering going to the mall to buy a ring, STOP. It’s so invasive and unlike the family jewelry experience. Bellmans went a bit over my budget, but the ring is worth it and so is the customer service. Oh, she said yes.

Bellman’s is amazing but Jordan is simply the exemplar of costumer service. Not only did she help me with my wedding band, and my fiancé’s band, but she was perfectly in tune with what to give by bridesmaids, mother, AND mother-​in-​law for gifts. She may be newer to this company, but she she has extraordinary talent when dealing with customers and tailoring to their needs. I will never shop for jewelry anywhere else but Bellman’s simply because of my wonderful experience with Jordan and the amazing quality offered. Thank you again!!!

If you’re in a rush, I’ll be straight to the point: Hands down, I give Bellman my highest recommendation. Here’s some more detail to offer toward the point:
I stopped in here on a weekday after several people independently recommended Bellman’s to me. I had a bit of a predicament. While on an anniversary trip in the Virgin Islands, we decided to enhance my wife’s engagement ring. We purchased her original engagemnt ring at another jeweler who has a lot of local celebrity; one we thought was reputable. (I mean Jewelers are like car salesman, right? How do you know?)
Anyhow, while on our trip we worked with a nice family jeweler who set us up with a beautiful new setting for my wife’s original solitaire stone. The ring was remarkable and we were anxious to get it home and add the aggregated creation to our Homeowner’s policy.
We brought the ring to our original jeweler to inquire about a cleaning and appraisal. After the girls at the counter ooh-​ed and ahh-​ed over our new creation, (and I was feeling pretty darn puffy-​chested), the owner (Let’s call him «Phony Sasser») came by to inspect the ring. He gave it barely more than a glance before dismissing it as defective, citing bent prongs, an incorrect setting and a quote of nearly $ 900.00 to set things straight, or risk losing some of the diamonds.
This news was quite a blow, and after our vacation and the cost of upgrading the ring, this beautiful piece got locked in our safe until we could just justify spending another near-​thousand dollars.
It was on a hunch that I decided to get a second opinion and visit this Bellman’s place I’d heard so many good things about — and boy am I glad I did!
From the moment I stepped inside, I just felt «good.» I wasn’t getting that look of judgement I always feel upon stepping into a jewelry store. I was greeted by Dana who heard my plight in its entirety, (instantly qualifying her for sainthood, btw), and avowed to help. She looked at the ring, and assured me it was beautiful, and perfect. After a quick inspection, she advised me that a full inspection, rhodium retouch, prong check/​tightening and appraisal by expert gemologist David Bellman could be done in a matter of a few days — all for a very nominal $ 175. I was floored!
Dana was so nice, so understanding, and so patient with me. She knew I had been through the wringer and had a very bummed-​out wife who was sincerely missing her bling. Together we were able to pull off an awesome surprise for my wife and I got to look like a hero twice — once when I gave her her ring back and again when she saw how much I saved by going to an honest professional.

I will never go anywhere but Bellman’s. After a terrible experience with a jewelry chain (Jared’s) in which they burned my diamonds in my wedding band (and then lost them) David Bellman came to my rescue. Not to be so dramatic but this is not just any ring. This was my wedding band. David asked me what I wanted and I sent him some ideas. He produced drawings that were beyond compare. He explained the process of how they were actually produced and assured me that I would be very happy with the results. I was at the store 10 minutes after opening on the day he promised my ring would be ready and, sure enough, he brought it right out. To say it was fabulous is an understatement! His customer service, communication and ability to deliver an incredible product on time and budget was superior. I cannot recommend him highly enough! Wish they had 6 stars! Thank you David!!!

I love Bellman’s.
I was shopping for an engagement ring (she said yes!). I was planning on visiting several jewelers that night to get some quotes and shop around. I started the night at Bellman’s and worked with the most wonderful woman, Sandy. She was willing to work with me for several hours, finding the right setting and diamond, informing me of the different cuts (which I knew nothing about) and other qualities (which I had known).
She was incredibly nice to my friend who came to help me shop. We both were offered drinks and the whole experience was really enjoyable. It was clear that they knew their stuff. After all was said and done, I was able to negotiate the price of the ring a little bit (something I doubt that you can do in the chain jewelers). In addition, I got free Monarchs tickets too (though it snowed bad that night and I was unable to go).
Sandy promised me that the ring would be done by Christmas (I ordered it just two weeks before). Lo and behold, I had it in my hand on the 23^rd! They also will resize it for free the first couple of times to make it right, which I had to do. I dropped it off on a Thursday and had it back on Saturday (apparently all rings go out Thursday).
In addition, since I bought the engagement ring there, I now enjoy a discount on the wedding bands. Best part, tax-​free NH! There was also a nice touch that they did when I went to pick up the ring (will keep that a secret!) Needless to say, the ring was gorgeous and they did an excellent job setting it and helping me choose the perfect combination.
The ring was promptly certified and appraised. These guys know what they are doing and the price is competitive. Without a doubt, I will return to Bellman’s for the bands and other future purposes. I’ve been recommending this place to all of my friends. Forget the chain jewelers and support local business. Trust me, you’re going to have a great experience.
