I am writing this as I eat the amazing chicken stir fry from Candia Road Convenience. I really can’t think of a place that can beat this sub. Really the only competition would be the steak and cheese from Pappy’s but that is comparing apples to oranges. This is a must have.

Excellent value and great sandwiches, better than most sub /​pizza shops! The chicken salad is amazing and so large I have it for two meals. Definitely recommend.

I got the chicken ceasar wrap and it was AMAZING. It had warm chicken, crutons and just totally delicious overall.

Great beer selection. Sandwiches are also great. The breakfast subs are also great. People who work there are super friendly.

Great food, Wonderful beer selection! Would enjoy the store 100 times more if the girl that worked behind the counter wasn’t so rude and absolutely condescending, beyond rude, time to hire some new help! You’ll get more clientele, I can assure you I am not the only patron that thinks this.

I finally met one of the owners to inform him of his inflated beer prices. In one ear and out the other! They don’t care that they are ripping off their customers.
Example: a 22oz. bottle from Wachcusett Brewery at North End Superette sells for $ 5.99. The same bottle at this place is $ 8.99…50% more! An $ 8.99 6 pack at North End is sold for $ 12.99 by the crooks who run this place.
Save your money. Go to Bert’s or North End Superette.

This place has awesome beer and sandwiches. The bread alone is enough to come check this place out. So fresh and delicious.

This place is a MUST — TRY if you are ever heading up north, and you know you have a several hour ride stop and get a sandwich, which comes with a small bag of chips. I always get a Steak Cheesse, which is not shaved crappy steak, they use sirloin and cut it up into small cubes, and the bread is ohh so soft (really good toasted too in the sandwich press). This is legit the BEST STEAK AND CHEESE SANDWICH YOU CAN GET, and I have not yet found one that I can say is Hands Down better. I dare you to tell me where there is one, and I will go try it.
If you try to take a few bites of the sandwich, I’m sure you will end up eating at least half if not the whole thing. It is only when I am going way North into NH that I force myself to save half for the other leg of the journey.
Like I said you can also get Cigars, and beer there.

Got an italian sub, meat was a low quality. There bread is delicious. The girl that works there is beyond rude, with a horrible attitude.

I live about a quarter of a mile from this place, and at different times in my life, Candia Road Convenience has been responsible for my nourisment morning, noon and night. Everybody who eats a sub for the first time always say (with mumbled speech from a mouthful of sub), «Wow, the bread is great!» That sums up what makes this sub shop great.
Hot subs and cold subs are equally delicious. There are a wide selection of drinks and chips.
Huge beer and wine selection. Candia Road always has all the different brands even when other area businesses are out.

Great place to stop when you need something quick… Really good subs as well as many other items. Most Importantly is the store is very well organized and also very clean!

This place is right by my office, so we go in and pick up subs semi-​frequently.
It’s a nice store, clean, with a huge selection of beer and cigars. Truly the best selection I’ve seen anywhere in this area.
The subs are tasty, generous portions and reasonably priced. They have a good selection of those as well — the Chicken Salad and Steak Tip subs are the standouts from what I’ve had.
What keeps us from patronizing this place more is the service. The girl who usually works the counter is just flat out rude and has a horrible attitude. I’ve been waited on before by a gentleman who I would guess is an owner, and he’s a really nice, friendly guy.
I have no idea why they keep her, but I literally choose Wendy’s over this place at least 2x a week because I just don’t feel like having my mood ruined by her. My coworkers feel the same way, they should be aware they are losing business just due to her attitude.

Great place for beer, cigars I also think the subs here are much better than most I’ve found in the area even though the bread is a little doughy the chicken salad was recommended by one of the employees I loved it he told me to get it with Lettuce, tomatoes onions and hots. The Italian was really good too. cheap good food and amazing beer selection since there isn’t much except for specialty shops that overcharge. The Best part is that they own the Brewers Supply shop next door very knowlageable and great store

I come for the beer, the selection is outstanding for this area, where obscure beer is hard to find in any store. Last time I went in I found out that you can mix and match six racks, which is such a perk. I’ll assume that other facets of the store are also up to par… it’s just all about the beer. Thanks guys!

Located just east of Exit 6, the Candia Road Convenience Store offers a pretty good selection of cigars, cigarettes, beer, wine, cold drinks, a variety self serve coffees, snacks, newspapers, a full service deli counter (subs & salads) and more.
Most of the clientele are older guys. I stop here for breakfast and lunch, which is convenient to my office. Any size coffee is only 89 cents! They offer a Sub Special: 20oz Soda, Any Small Sub, & a small bag of Wachusett Chips for $ 6.99 (cold)/$ 7.99 (hot) The Seafood Salad Sub and Steak Tip Sub are my favorite subs!
The Breakfast Sub served until 10AM ($ 3.25) is also pretty good and tasty, which is scrambled eggs, large hash brown patty, and choice of meat (bacon, sausage, or ham) on a large hot pressed roll. This sub goes well with my 89 cent large toasted hazelnut coffee!
