I came into Manchester for a work trip and discovered Fortitude. What a great place for group exercise! Clean, orderly, full of new/high quality equipment– on appearance alone, I knew I was off to a good start. I took an «Iron» class with Lisa. They members were friendly and welcoming, giving me tips on how to get set up. The class itself was challenging and fun; it incorporated a range of weights as well as an exercise tube. Lisa did a great job both instructing and interacting; I got in an excellent work out and was so glad I stumbled across this resource. I’ll be back when I return to Manchester!

This place is awesome! I dropped in to take a TRX class and had a great time! Great instructor and a nice facility with a convenient location. The locker rooms and a shower towel are also included with your class visit. My only beef was that the classes are all 45 minutes which I feel isn’t long enough, especially when you are paying good money. I am not positive but I think all of the classes are 45 which is really 40 minutes with stretching. The music was also way too loud, if I visit again I will bring ear plugs. Everyone was very friendly and the facility was ultra cool and clean! I was bummed that there are no Saturday afternoon or Sunday classes. I would visit again on my trip if there were. Definitely visit this place when you are in Manchester! I will attend again in the summer when I am in town.

After finally giving into my fiancé, I decided to join her one afternoon at «The Fort». Having 3 gym memberships already, I thought I had seen it all, from Planet Fitness to CrossFit. The Fort was an eye opener. Focused on group fitness, I’ve attended the yoga, TRX, bootcamp, and kickboxing classes. Every session is different, which keeps it from getting boring. Plus, the routines can be easily tailored to any experience level or ability. There is no sense of competition here. The entire vibe within the facility is extremely positive, and it shows through the passion of Lisa & Danielle as they lead the classes. It’s great to see everyone supporting one another in this healthy environment. If you’re an experienced fitness guru or a new to working out, The Fort will push you to new levels, leave you feeling great, and telling all your friends(while making new ones).
