Gabi’s Wine & Spirits

Gabi has opened a brand new location in Cottleville! It is inviting store, well organized display with wide variety of wine and much much more! What makes me go back is the personal service this store offers.

Used to be Dunkin Donuts! Just east of Manchester and Sulphur Spring Road on the north side of Manchester.
I’ve been by this place many paces, but had occasion to come in yesterday.
What a ridiculous find! All accounting to Ammie, the lovely and energetic mistress of the house!
Needed something for a St. Patrick’s Day celebration at a friend’s house near Dogtown. I’m bringing my own broccoli-​cheese soup in a Crockpot, but needed to supply some imbibement.
Ammie recommended a ¼ keg of Kaupziner pale that’s green beer. Doesn’t start to go bad until you open it. It will be opened Saturday, and I’ve no doubt it will all be consumed, so no problems there! Refrigerating now. How good can that be. .. green beer!
There’s lots of stuff in this place for as small as it is. And a large refrigerated section of beer and wine.
Yea, it’s just another liquor store. But Ammie made it different. She walked me through what I needed and helped me find what I needed much faster than if I was just wandering around in the store.
I’d give 30 stars to Ammie. .. she helped me schlep my purchases out to the car.
P. S. The beer wasn’t green. The container was green, but the beer was not. Girlfriends and I were trying to open the dang thing. The directions were right there on the keg, but they were in German, so we were clueless. We had to get a guy to open it, ’cause they don’t read directions anyway!
The beer was good and kept cold well!
