Had a grilled cheeses and fries for lunch. Fries were hot but grilled cheese sandwich was not, cheese was not even melted. Not a very good lunch.

Great place to eat and drink in the Southwest terminal by Gate 14. Consistently good food and service

Very slow and laid back service for an airport restaurant. At such a place, servers should bring you your check ASAP, lest you miss your flight. Here, I had to search for my server and eventually ask another to find her to bring me my check, as my flight was boarding. I had the buffalo wings, which were okay if a bit small, and what was listed on the menu as «Philly Cheese Fries». Perhaps it was my fault for making the assumption, but to me «philly cheese» anything implies some sliced steak, with onions and peppers. These turned out to be just gene French fries with that yellow plastic cheese poured over them, nothing more. Not that there’s anything particularly wrong with that dish, but the name should be changed to something more like«cheddar fries».

I was one of two customers at the Local for breakfast. The wait staff was busy prepping for the day. I ordered the brisket Hash. There was no brisket in said hash. So, I ended up paying for a skillet of fried potatoes, with lots of toast. Not recommended.

We were early for our flight, so we decided to have lunch at The Local. Shannon, our server, was a delight — very friendly and attentive. Our biggest complaint would have to be the cost. Why do restaurants feel that they have to take advantage of people at the airport? A bowl of clam chowder was $ 8.99 pricey but excellent(very creamy and loaded with everything) — ice tea and diet cokes were each $ 2.89 — the beef brisket sandwich $ 10.99 and the chicken breast sandwich $ 10.79 — both came with French fries and were just ok. The total bill for 2 was $ 39.84 before tip — overpriced at best…

So-so food from a name you can trust. Michael Timothy’s is a well known restaurant group in Southern NH. The service at this establishment is terrible. We waited almost an hour for our food. The chicken was tough /rubbery. On the plus side the ice water was excellent!

It’s an airport bar. The service is solid and the food is decent for an airport.

Had the hash skillet. Not so great– looked a bit gray. Eggs over easy came coated with cheddar cheese. Coffee was brutal– maybe end of shift, who knows? Service was great.

The food here looks better than it is, and service is far more lackadaisical than one would expect in an airport, where people often have limited time to dine before boarding. My husband and I had lunch here on a Friday afternoon. Our flight was delayed, so we decided to take our time and eat at the sit-down restaurant rather than the grab & go option. My husband got a burger, I got the grilled cheese with bacon and tomato. I also ordered hot tea. No one offered us water, which was a bit off-putting to me. When I got my tea, it was served in a glass mug with no coaster, leaving me nowhere to put my teabag without making a mess. My sandwich had a vaguely antiseptic taste and the bacon was chewy and REALLY greasy. I expect a certain amount of grease with grilled cheese and bacon, I did not expect the bacon to be a grease luge. Fries were ok. My husband said his burger was ok, but not great. Meh. This airport has limited dining options, but I’m still not sure I’d eat here again.

Food was fine; service was not. I had half an hour to kill before my flight was to board. I stopped into The Local for a beer and order of Buffalo wings. The waitress took my order. Beer and food came out promptly, delivered by someone who was not my waitress. I never saw my waitress again. I flagged down a random employee and said«my flight is about to start boarding. Can you close out my tab?» He said«let me find your waitress so she can do it.» He disappeared and I sat there for another 5 minutes. Finally gave up and paid my bill at the bar. So overall, I found the food to be fine. But the service left a lot to be desired. Especially at an airport restaurant, you shouldn’t have to hunt to find a way to pay your bill.

Located at MHT after the security checkpoint near Gates 14, and 15 The Local @ MHT(former Milltowne Grill and Smuttynose Café spaces) is a casual full service restaurant with ample tables and booth seating and seating up at the bar(offering several beers on tap & bottle, wine, spirits, and cocktails). There are strips of power outlets along some of the walls, good for recharging electronic devices. This establishment is operated by HMSHost. The breakfast offerings(until 10:30AM) include omelets, skillets, tots & eggs, johnny cakes, and frittatas. The lunch/dinner offerings include sandwiches, salads, soup, chowder, pub appetizers(dirty chips, wings, fried olives & almonds Bavarian pretzels, charcuterie & cheese board)„ sandwiches, burgers, sliders, lobster rolls, flatbread pizzas, local signatures(St. Louis BBQ Ribs, Fish & Chips, Gastro Beef Brisket, Dirty Mac-N’-Cheese, Gastro Beef Brisket), and dessert(warm cookies, molten chocolate cake. The prices here are moderate, most meals $ 10-$ 20. I stopped here for lunch before my flight. It took a couple minutes before someone seated me. I was given ice water in a thick glass jar. For lunch, I ordered the Beef Brisket sandwich($ 9.99) with local fries, which was served in about 15 minutes. The beef brisket sandwich had tender slices of tender beef brisket, cheddar cheese, a sweet & medium spicy Gastro BBQ sauce, sweet cole slaw between a toasted baguette roll. It took some effort to eat this sandwich since it was very messy to eat and the baguette roll was extremely chewy. The fries were hot and golden crisp, sprinkled with shredded parmesan cheese & parsley. The service was mixed on this visit. There were two staff members who took care of my table. It took a while for someone to come around and take my order(over 5 minutes) and the bartender asked me if anyone was over to see me yet(my answer was no and I immediately placed my order). The server brought out my food and he left the check on the table for convenience. Halfway through eating, my flight was beginning the boarding process, so the server promptly brought me over a takeout box for the food, which I packed up and I left exact change on the table and made it in line to board the plane.
