Great selection and nice staff. It’s one of the cleanest and least sketchy smoke shops I’ve visited.

So I walked into this place last week and I ended up buying a Diamond Water-​Pipe for $ 120 and a pouch for $ 20, pricier than I wanted, but I was assured it was «a killer piece». When I got home I realized the slide piece that goes into the water pipe was chipped and when I went back today to get a replacement, I expected to get one for free. While I was waiting to speak to the employee (a different guy), he was giving a sales pitch to some younger gentlemen. I soon realized that these guys are salesmen. He was pretty pushy with the younger guys and they ended up walking out.
The employoee eventually got to me, and I stated I came in last week and spent $ 140 on some product, but the slide was chipped. He rudely interrupted me and started pointing to signs that said no refunds no returns. His voice became increasingly aggressive and then said, «I’m not suppose to do this but I’ll call my boss.»
He got his boss on the line and then got off and addressed me again. He said he would give me an awesome deal on a new slide, for $ 30, because I was probably at fault for breaking the slide myself or I should have checked every piece before I left. I stated I was new to the area and I spend a lot of money on pipes because I usually give them as gifts to my friends as well as buy them for myself (I actually intended on buying a pipe for a friend once I settled my broken slide issue). When I stated I was unhappy with this decision, he started raising his voice and stepped out from behind the counter and said, «I could just ask you to leave, I dont have to give you a deal because look at this sign, look at this sign, look at this sign», while pointing at font 14 printed out word documents stating no refunds.
I ended up walking out. The people they hire seem to be on a sales role. Almost like they failed a drug test when applying for a used car salesmen job and had to go to this joint for a job.
My suggestion, walk 5 minutes down the road to Good Times on Elm St. I walked in, a female kindly greated me, gave me my space and told me to let her know if I had any questions. I ended up buying a replacement for my slide and a pipe for my friend.
Wild Side Smoke Shop is runned by amateur and sell inferior products. Their RooRs are american made, not german, their glass pieces are cheap, and their staff are goons. This place will be out of business shortly.
