Great enormous pizza. Don’t go there for the scenery, which is old en scruffy. This is al mostly pick-up location

We come here every year when we vacation in Manchester, and this is always one of the first places we stop. Every year the service is consistently friendly, the pizza is amazing and the price is perfect. I would actually pay more considering how good the food is. A few plain slices with an Italian sub is more than enough for two people. For those who complain about the walls not being clean enough or not enough seating… it’s an extremely busy pizza joint, what do you expect?

Not the best pizza I’ve ever had. Neat place but don’t think I’ll be back.

Super friendly service and great pizza with delicious gluten free crust if you prefer. I enjoyed seeing Manchester through this lens. The coke is glass bottled and you know what that means… no high fructose corn syrup!

Such a friendly place hidden in this little town that we stumbled upon on our road trip. The pizza was VERY good and the pie maker/cashier young lady was extremely personable and chipper — we loved her and the pizza! The only thing that stumped us a bit was that the hours say they open at 11:00am, but the sign still said closed at 11:10. I opened the door and asked if they were open, and she said usually between 11 and 11:30 is when they open, so we were welcome to come in and take a seat. At this time the majority of the pies were already out of the oven and ready to be served by the slice, but my boyfriend wanted the white pie which wasn’t done yet. She offered to make that her next pie which I thought was very sweet! Maybe because we are from a big city we aren’t used to the open/closing hours in small towns that blur the lines a bit? We were just happy they welcomed us in even though they weren’t quite ready. We would totally come back to this place if we are in the area and so glad we opted for the $ woodfired pizza instead of the $$ pizza up the street since this one turned out to be so great.

After a long long hike today we ventured into Sam’s woodfired Pizza Company in Manchester, what a great experience! The owner was very personable and made us the best pizza ever, we would highly recommend this place!!! The pizza is a thin crust very crispy right out of the stone fired oven. We almost finished the whole thing because it was so awesome. I have never reviewed on Unilocal before, please try this place!

Small and eclectic lunch spot. I stopped in while traveling for work, incredibly friendly, fresh and tasty wood fired pizza. $ 5 for two slices and a drink and thankfully they take cards.

Decent pizza. I would have preferred more sauce; however, my husband prefers it the way it was. Sauce tasted sweet and the crust was thin and crispy and overall very nice. We got a large two topping pizza and two drinks for $ 24. I may just stick with the 2 Slice and drink special for $ 5 next time, but I would come back again! Knocking off one star because of cleanliness, our table was sticky/greasy but not enough to put me off from ever coming again.

Great place! Family from all over visiting the area and we loved it. Outdoor seating in the summer was great. Got the white pizza and another with olives and meat. No leftovers :)

Good decent pizza. Liked the service and outside seating area. We ordered a veggie pizza with chicken. On one half of the pizza. The chicken was a bit bland and i didn’t like the taste. However the veggies were hot and fresh and so was the fresh cheese. Overall a decent place for quick bite.

ITS A DIVE! A HIPPYDIVE! With FANTASTIC — LEGITNY style pie. The owner LOVES his baby, and spits out pies like its no one’s business. I was so brazen I even went for a BBQ chicken pizza slice and a cheese. Not buried in oregano. Not waxy, greasy or salty cheese — just a fantastic balance of the right stretchy goo. 2 slices of topped pizza and soda — $ 7 bucks. Best quick lunch. Funky dive. Fabulous pies!

The pizza was great-really tasty, especially the white pie with caramelized onions, spinach, and goat cheese. I wasn’t impressed with the service(felt rushed even though the place was empty-we had 2 kids with us who wanted to take their time choosing) but when we had a water spill one of the guys in the kitchen came out and offered to clean it up for us. We would be happy to eat there(or take out) another time!

Cannot say enough! Fancy… NO! Snooty… NO! Fine linens… HELLNO! Fantastic pizza… YESYESYES. Not only was the pizza amazing, Sam, the owner, was hysterical, friendly and husband and I have actually been here twice, once in the summer when we sat outside with our dog, Molly(later found out she was eligible for a free piece of pizza), and then this past weekend with a group of friends. Sam’s is BYO. The menu was simple, but all three of our pizzas and salads were amazing. The veggie pizza had a thin crust and was chock full of every vegetable out there. The pepperoni pizza did not have a drop of grease. Can’t wait to visit again… maybe on a Tuesday when we hear there are cannolis!

We stopped in here because of the special sign out front, 2 cheese slices and a drink for $ 5. We ended up getting the other pizza slices, pepperoni and then fresh tomato and pesto. They were excellent! The crust was thin and crispy with great flavor. We will definitely be going back here the next time. I live near New Haven, CT and this pizza reminded of New Haven style pizza. Very good!

Great lunch spot when traveling to/through VT. Lunch special is a solid deal. Pizza is fresh, and they have a wide variety – even white pizza that seems to be in short supply elsewhere. Will def return

Wait. You don’t have enough dough for me to order pizza at a pizza place? Sure, it was a Sunday evening but when your hours are«’til close», I’d hope you could have the ingredients to bother being open. The conversation basically went, «We’ll order 2 large pizzas and 1 small.» «We only have enough for 1 large pizza and 1 small.» You must be joking. «Okay, well, if they order 1 large and 1 small, do you have garlic bread at least?» «No, we don’t have dough for the breads today.» So I ended up with a pretty bare greek salad, no peppercinis, no onion and three olives(that’s what made this salad«Greek» and not«House»). At least my coworkers had pizza. Pretty disappointing. I’d recommend skipping this place unless you want to pay a lot for a lot of disappointing compromise.
