Where do I begin… I went in on a regular day to pick up some paint… and Tabitha had to come along and ruin my day. She asked me if I needed help, and then wasn’t even able to help me when I asked her to point me to the canvases… I mean, I even knew where they were– I was just testing her because she asked me rudely. She didn’t have to ask me anything at all if she was going to be rude about it. I will never go back there because Tabitha was such a grump. And don’t even get me started on her nose. she almost knocked me out with it… 0 noses if I could… I mean stars.

Like most people stated, the staff is clueless. I go inside today asking if they have this particular product and the person asked over the com. Twice. I guess she didn’t get any response from the other people since she told me that just because they carry it online doesn’t mean that they carry it in the store. So i go walking around hoping to spot something else I would like. Lo and Behold, There was the product I was looking for fully stocked. Um yeah… next time if you don’t want to help me or aren’t knowledgeable about where you work, then just say so. Its terrible to hire people who doesn’t know jack snap about where they are working at. Would you hire an accountant who doesn’t know how to do math? how about a contractor who doesn’t know wood from tiles? They need to seriously look into and interview people more carefully who are worthy and passionate about the job instead of living for the next pay check without educating themselves.

They had the balls i wanted! that i wanted to make one of my friends a custom ornament out of… i was able to use a coupon from my phone and it worked fine from snip snap. this place is always busy… i guess people keep doing all those DIY projects are keeping these stores in business

Let me live here forever! I am a big artsy person, so this is quite the gem for me. I finally got to visit Michael’s. They have EVERYTHING here! 45 minutes was definitely not enough time for me to scout around! Definitely will visit here very soon… best believe it!

ABSOLUTELYCLUELESSSTAFF!!! I think there is just 1 person in the entire team that actually knows what products the store carries! And if you approach most of them they act like you’re intruding on their day by asking for assistance! Seriously, if you are NOT into customer service DON’T TAKETHEJOB!!! They do have great selection of crafts and art supplies though…

honestly i have been doing my art shopping at ac moore & i decided to give michaels a chance(because I havent been in awhile) and now I regret it — their staff is unfriendly and the parking lot has crazy people in it — everyone is in a rush and is not polite. I encountered a nasty customer & although that is not michaels fault it made my shopping experience miserable — i have not been back since also the sales associate that helped us gave us the wrong information & we spent $ 30 or so on the wrong supplies!

I love the Michael’s franchise. You can find lots of great crafts and decorating items and you gotta love the 40% off coupons they provide, but this location is always a disappointment. Parking is horrible –. very limited and spots are really tight. I have also never been able to run in and run out of this store quickly. There is always a line and they move really slowly. The employees are never friendly and rarely around to assist. I’m giving up on this location and will have to head to the store in Westbury instead.

I shop at Michael’s a lot and I’ve been to various locations and never really had a problem with any of them except this one. This Michael’s is located in a small shopping center and the parking lot is really tight. No one really knows where to sit and wait in their cars while their significant others run into the stores and there definitely isn’t enough parking, which makes the lot a complete mess. I’ve been to this store a few times mainly on weekdays and off times and I highly suggest coming then. When it’s crowded, it’s impossible to get help in the store. I usually keep Michael’s coupons on me but I forgot this one time. When I went to the register, I told the cashier that I forgot my 40% off coupon and she rudely and quickly responded saying that she can’t do anything about it(in a screw you kind of attitude) and that she has nothing that she can scan on hand b/c they don’t keep any coupons(which is not totally true, b/c I’ve been to several and when my coupons don’t scan, they reach into a draw and pick out another coupon from someone before and scan it). Then she ran away from the register to help another cashier before finishing my transaction. She just really didn’t want to give me the 40% off, which totally didn’t make any sense b/c right after I purchased my item, a 40% off coupon came out. I could have returned my item and bought it again using that coupon! Service and the attitude really stinks here. The selection isn’t bad. I saw in the baking aisle that they started to put out the new Chef Duff(Ace of Cakes) products.

I don’t think you can really go to any Michael’s and go wrong — their selection is so ridiculously vast and neverending and overwhelming! But at this store it seemed like we could never find any employees to ask where such and such was located. The one employee that I did find seemed harried and unwilling to stop to speak to me. Thumbs down on that, grr.
