Hands down one my favorite bagel spots. Quick service, fresh bagels and staff members that always are extremely friendly! Prices are fair and the portions are satisfying. Indoor and outdoor seating, usually pretty easy to find seats. My go to recommendations are the tuna melt, pizza melt, spicy deluxe bagels. My parents absolutely love their strawberry cream cheese! 5⁄5 would recommend to everyone. Great food at an affordable price with very friendly staff!

Love the food hate the service. Takes 10 min for a Turkey Avocado Melt that’s madness.

I’m not in Manhattan Beach too much but when I am, I try to stop by this place. It’s a good spot to make a quick stop and grab a tasty bagel. Their variety of spread is pretty good too.

Terrible service at this location in the Manhattan Village Mall complex. They overcharged, lack customer care and slow.

I got the Lox Bagel for my self and the kids ham and egg bagels. For my husband, bacon and egg. Everyone loved their food. My family tends to be picky eaters too. I’m finding that places on Unilocal with bad reviews are actually great. And places with great reviews actually sucks. Starting to not trust Unilocal. But the wait does kinda suck.

I’ve been here multiple times because it’s convenient for me but having coffee bean next door it’s better to just go there for bagels, service, ect! Anyways I came here and ordered a blueberry bagel and they put onion spread on it when I asked for butter and tried to return it the cashier yelled at me and told me I was the wrong one. Bagels are good but not worth the hassle here, mix ups happen almost every time I come here. Bagels are good but not worth it. Go to the neighbor next door.

I used to get my lunches here fairly often years ago, and after trying lots of new places, I decided to come back for old times’ sake, at their convenient location in the parking lot of the Manhattan Village mall. Was greeted by the cashier and I ordered my toasted bagel sandwich. They had run out of pumpernickel bagels, so I just ordered whole wheat. I remembered there used to be a long wait, so I reverted to my old habit of going around the corner to the Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf to get my beverage(made sure to let the East Coast people know I would be back, and kept my receipt just in case). It worked out well this time, my order was ready when I came back. The cashier cautioned me not to close the lid of the small pizza box that it was packaged in, because that would smash the sandwich. I thought that was interesting, they used to put it on a styrofoam plate and cover it with foil, but I think styrofoam is no longer allowed in MB. Bagel toasted just right with good crispness on the outside, cheese was nicely melted, tasty sauce, and dill pickle on the side, just as I remembered. Good trip down memory lane.

Unbelievable l!!! I ordered an egg white, spinach & swiss cheese whole wheat sesame bagel and when I got to my office to eat it, the spinach was missing. 2nd time this has happened, so frustrating! So I called & spoke to «Holden» who told me he was concentrating on the bagel choice of whole wheat sesame so that’s why he forgot the spinach… hmmmm. Asked if I could get some sort of credit next time as I am a regular customer… he said no, there was nothing he could do for me. REALLY!!! Way to go Holden !!! You may want to take some tips from your next door neighbor; Coffee Bean.

Don’t go here. If you do go when the bagels are fresh. Usually around 10 am.

Everything was alright. The bagels are okay and they have a variety of cream cheeses that are also just okay. It just does its job of curbing a bagel craving when I have it. The coffee is really lackluster though. The Coffee Bean is right next door if you want better coffee. It seems like they have a really tiny staff at all times. I went for breakfast on a Saturday morning and there were three people behind the counter. Then again for lunch on a Monday and there were two. Never mind that there was always a good chunk of people waiting to order or even to get their food. Also, if you get an open faced sandwich to-go, you may want to ask for a piece of parchment or something to go between the top of the sandwich and the box itself. I got home and opened my to-go box to find that my sandwich was stuck to the top.

Two stars instead of one since I really like the taste and consistency of their bagels but… they only put cream cheese on one side of the bagel. There is actually an additional charge if you want cream cheese on both sides of your bagel. If I only wanted half a bagel I would be happy but who wants half a bagel! Too bad… I actually like the location — lots of free parking — and it’s next to Coffee Bean. The wait time is not bad with lots of staff working. There are five tables outside and about five inside.

If I could give this place 0 stars I would. The owner(I think) the Asian man with glasses is SO rude and horrible to his customers. He has a horrible temper and no customer service. Don’t know how or why he is still there or why it’s still in business.

Don’t waste your time. Service is horrible, the food is okay when they get it right but if they don’t ITWILL be your fault because«you didn’t order it right» and they won’t give you your money back even if you didn’t touch the food. It’s Robbery and I’d give negative stars if I could.

No smiles, no friendliness, bad service! I even pit a buck in the tip jar and the young lady didn’t even say«thank you». This place needs new cashiers that are friendly. Just for this, I won’t return!

Horrible service! Will never come here again. Sergio needs some serious retraining on customer service. He was extremely short and impatient with me for no reason. I was the only one there. When I said«hello», he looked away and ignored me for about three minutes. This guy must have personal issues that he doesn’t leave at the door when he gets to work… Sorry East Coast Bagel Co, very disappointed.

We are seriously lacking some great bagel joints here in the south bay. I’m not from the east coast area… but I have a feeling they make much better bagels there. I was doing okay with Noah’s Bagels… I accepted the fact that it is what it is. I was hoping something a little different with East Coast Bagels. I’m a HUGE lover of lox schmear. But their lox barely has any lox in it and added green onions inside which is totally gross. The coffee was«eh.» I had their latte once which was also, «eh.» The staff was attentive. I wasn’t taking a gamble with my order as I sometimes do with Noah’s Bagels. Total buzzkill when you want your bagel toasted to-go(only to find that it isn’t once you’re inside your car). It does serve a purpose when you’re on the go and you want your average bagel and coffee. But don’t come here expecting«east coast» bagels here. Meanwhile I’m getting my bagels from Wholefoods down the street. Sigh.
