Kiehl’s Since 1851

I think that Kiehl’s make some great products – but I have attempted to shop this store 3X and I cannot get someone to help me. The last time – the guy at the counter was busy flirting with the mall security guard and giving him free samples. I would have been happy to wait but an acknowledgement would have been nice. So – off to Sephora I went!

I’m actually not a customer but as I was sitting at one of the tables in the mall I saw one of the women who worked inside run after a couple of women who had just left the store. I overheard the employee say that right after they left she realized the one woman was accidentally charged twice for an item and that she wanted to make sure it was fixed. This was so great to witness. That employee could have easily just said oops, my bad, and let the customer leave. Big props to the honesty and effort made to rectify the mistake!

I Love this location! I was approached by Matthew! We had a wonderful discussion on my skin needs and the products that would best be suited for me! He gave me samples to try and even tested my skin type! I felt like I was visiting an educated skin care doctor! He gave me wonderful, outstanding, award winning customer service! I am a happy customer! I highly recommend the products and the people who work at this location to help you with your skin care needs!

Kiehls has changed my skin and so grateful for the amazing staff. The store manager put together a skin regiment for me to use every night and every morning. I had been breaking out and now my skin has cleared! Now I’m working with her to get rid of my scars. Couldn’t be happier with my results!

Kiehl’s make some great men’s products (as well as women’s) and they are a brand with a long history. The Manhattan Village branch is on point. Never crowded, always clean and organized. Even if i haven’t been there in a while, they always remember me, so service is uniformly great. That’s probably why the same people have been working here for a while.
If only I could «borrow,» the California Highway Patrol motorcycle in their display window…

Kiehl’s line of mens products WORK. I have been using their full line of products for a few years now with great success.
I start the day with the facial fuel energizing face wash and end it with the oil eliminator. Both of these work extremely well and compliment my sensitive and unfortunate oily skin. To moisturize and stay young and beautiful I use the Facial fuel heavy lifting anti-​aging moisturizer. It has a thicker consistency but does not feel greasy or heavy. If you have dry areas that need more attention touch up with the classic facial fuel moisturizer. For body, both the activated sun protection sunscreen and anti perspiring deodorant are effective and again very gentle on sensitive skin. The sunscreen sets quickly and has a very minimal scent. as does the deodorant. The body fuel body wash is a great way to start an end your day, love the smell and the energized feeling it gives off. Some other products to not be forgotten are Kiehl’s bar soap and chap stick; eye alert is great after those long nights when your look is not on point.
So the products work great, we get it. Why I enjoy going into the store is the smaller more focused experience. This Manhattan Beach location is closest to home. Every time I go in (which is often) I get the attention and knowledge needed to make well informed and pleasant purchase. Take a second to get on the loyalty program, there are easy saving to be found here. Small gestures go really far in my book and the handwritten note I got in the mail was something I never expected, but such a personalized touch. Thanks Matthew! See you guys soon.

I enjoy coming to this Kiehl’s location. The store people are welcoming, very knowledgeable about the products, happy to help you, happy to give recommendations/​samples, and will send you personal emails if their store or the company is having special promotions.
The store is clean, organized, and always well stocked.

I am strongly in like with Kiehl’s!
I’ve been to the flagship store in New York City on multiple occasions, so I was really happy to find that there is one in Manhattan Village. The sales associates are helpful, knowledgeable about the products and are genuinely personable. I can see how it would be awkward recommending beauty products to customers: how do you suggest helpful products without coming across as judgmental? The sales associates here are able to navigate such situations smoothly.
Kiehl’s has great products, there’s no doubt about it. Their Rare Earth Deep Pore Cleansing Masque is effective and in high demand – it’s always sold out online, and I was lucky enough to come to the store on a day when they had some in stock. I also like their face moisturizer-​SPF 15 sunscreen and their toning products (you can feel the cooling/​firming effects as soon as you put them on!) In general, I like that Kiehl’s has plenty of product information on their labels, enough to help differentiate between similar concoctions.
Other quick suggestions: 1) Ask for samples if they don’t automatically ask you. They have almost every product ready for you to try at home. 2) Sign up for their emailing/​points list. They have pretty good deals for people on the list.
Whether you’re a man, woman, young or old, go to Kiehl’s!

I love Khiel’s, it’s stays on my top 3 for facial products. This particular location has a very knowledgable staff with a lots of product information. I’m definitely coming back.

Yay, Kiehl’s is finally opened in Manhattan Beach! The store looks exactly the same as all the other stores and the beauty consultants are as friendly and helpful. I wandered in but couldn’t remember what I need to stock up on since I forget my shopping list. However, the beauty consultants were able to help me narrow my options and I left the store happy and satisfied.
