I have been involved in community service /​philanthropy for a number of years now and am active in a few nonprofit groups to continue my efforts. Having just moved to Manhattan Beach and looking to make friends, I joined the Neptunian Woman’s Club of Manhattan Beach in October of 2012. I have made wonderful friendships in a short period of time… friends that I work side-​by-​side with as we fund raise scholarships for need-​based students, sew pillowcases for newly fostered children, sell baked goods for the local aquarium, and so much more! I have not enjoyed philanthropy so much as I have since I joined the Neptunian ladies! If you’re looking to invest in your community, please consider joining us!
