A Cut Above

This place used to be good. So good that I recommended friends there, however, they butchered my friend’s hair so much so it almost put her to tears. She was made to feel that it was her fault and she went home and had to cut her own hair. I offered to join her there the next day because she just came down here from another country and the lady in charge was completely unprofessional. She interrupted us and said with an attitude «So you want a refund». Then ignored us and pulled up the money, smacked it down on the desk in front of us and looked at us like it was ok for us to leave now. We were never mean or rude, we just said that this should have been resolved. She said that they normally do not do refunds and that another person takes care of it and that she was there and overheard what happened. I asked her why she did not then offer to fix it. She said she had her own client. Mind you, my friend said she was the only client there when this happened. Even if she had a client, could she not have walked over and kindly offered her another appointment where someone else could have fixed this mess? No! She was super mean. What happened to this place? I am not sure. They definitely do not put the customers needs and wants as a priority as it states on their website though.

I have curly hair and asked to have my hair cut by someone who is good with curly hair. That didn’t happen. I was only there for a trim and the layers were ruined and the curl was not accounted for at all even though I specifically said how my hair reacts. I went back to have my hair fixed and I still wasn’t very happy with it. The sad part of this is that I had a good cut from the manager several months prior to that.
Don’t go here for curly hair.

Love, love, love this place. The stylist (I forgot her name) put on the perfect hair color on me! I got soooo many complements. The pedicures & manicures at this place aren’t too expensive and well worth it! Great ambience!
