I came here at least 2 times a week for lunch. If you worked where I work you’ll see that there’s not a lot of options. The food is great. Typical Dominican food with variety of options. The portions are a bit lob sided. They give you enough rice go feed a small country but only give you very little meat. Fortunately they know me by now and know I asked for less rice and more meat. Over all it’s a good place to grab lunch. I would recommend anyone in the neighborhood who wants to grab a quick bite to stop by.

Funny thing; I actually went out to get some Chinese food, oh well… So I looked this place up online AFTER I got home and had the most DELICIOUS dinner. Apparently either there’s one of these in Corona, Queens, or they relocated to around the corner from my apartment — either way I’m happy(yum…). Four stars because it’s my first time and I don’t want this to be a fluke. I definitely plan on returning soon and if my food is this great again(and again, and again…) then I will most certainly add another star. I was in the mood for some good food, but nothing fried. Chinese is a lot of stir fry so when I saw Boca Chica while walking, I stepped inside… …and was hit by the most AMAZING smells around. This place smelled absolutely awesome! I had the baked salmon with rice and vegetables and a side of beans for $ 9 — and it was a goodly portioned amount of food. Out front they had salmon, tilapia, grouper and red snapper — but some folks were waiting for paella; they also have crab, shrimp, lobster and squid/octopus(OMG). Not to be outdone by the seafood, they also have chicken and beef entrees as well. All this is accompanied by rice and beans, rice and meat, plantains, salad, grilled/steamed vegetables. Deserts looked absolutely stunning. Just writing this review is making me hungry again. I hope this place is as good as the Corona place if not better on a consistent basis(I will be back soon and will update accordingly).
