Box Lab

Really cool space, with everything from quality kitchen cabinets to a variety of books and toys and household/​kitchen gadgets, all with style.
Was a great place to Christmas shop last year, as I came up with gifts I didn’t even know I was looking for. And a couple Festool tools. Didn’t buy any cabinets though… Not that much room under the tree.

I love cool local stores, and Box Lab is definitely one of them. Located on Poyntz, it is a beautiful space full of things to explore. Box Lab does do custom designs for the home, but also has a very sizable unique toy collection for babies and children, funky housewares with featuring brands like Alessi, and even cooking classes! I did not learn about these until yesterday, so I missed out on tapas and mole. However, I signed Eric R. and I up for a Paella Valenciana class, and there are some other cheese and wine/​beer pairing classes in partnership with Mimi’s Cheese. I met Adriana, who will be leading the cooking class. She was more than willing the make a non-​chorizo version of paella for me on class day, which is super cool. I cannot wait to return and experience the paella class. I also found a felt sushi toy set to add to my sushi collection!
