Brazilian Bootcamp has given me the best workouts ever! I started attending classes with Chardet in the summer of 2013. After one month I had already lost 13 pounds and by the end of three months I had been down 25 pounds. Needless to say, Chardet is the ultimate trainer equipped with immense knowledge about fitness as well as different exercises designed to fit your particular fitness level. She is hard core but in the best way possible. She is motivational and because her workouts are fun and change daily one never gets bored. I’ll be a Brazilian bootcamper for life.

Even though I’m not a fan of the complete body studio in W 19th, the workout itself was GREAT! Cardet def makes you work for it but has a really bright, energetic personality which helps when you’re getting through those seemingly endless capoeira style burpees or «soccer» style cardio drills. All in all — the bootcamp class kicked my butt and I’ll be back, can’t wait for the outdoor classes when it gets warmer.

This is not just a regular bootcamp workout… It’s Brazilian, it’s fun, it’s hard! Chardet knows what she’s doing, she will have you working out hard, and still having fun. I just loved it, and can’t wait to do it again.

This class has kicked my butt a few times, literally. Chardet is tough but will work with you even if you’re not in shape, like me. I really like that it’s outdoors so you’re not staring at four walls. You will definitely feel and see a difference!

Corpão and Chardét are AMAZING!!! I have been doing the Sesenta Challenge with Chardét for the last 2 months and have seen fantastic results. I have already lost 15 lbs and 7 inches! I feel so toned and fit and have had a lot of fun with the workouts to get me to this point. Chardét has so much energy which keeps you motivated to push through her challenging workouts. Chardét is great at providing different levels to her exercises so I would recommend these classes for people of all fitness levels.

Chardet makes this bootcamp fun and challenging. Every class is different to keep things interesting which is saying a lot from someone who gets bored of workout classes very easily. I prefer the morning classes because there are less people but the evening classes are good as well. If you are new to the class it is only $ 5 so you have nothing to lose. I would recommend buying packages which don’t expire too quickly and save you money per class.

Corpao kicked my butt! In a great way ofcourse. I am at a moderate level of working out, lift ¾ times a week with cardio but Chardet’s full body work out had me sweating after her session. I thought I was in a good shape, but it wasn’t until Chardet’s class I realized how much I needed to focus on full body workouts to increase my level of fitness. A great value for the price, her workout consists mainly of creative squats and lunges along with brazil inspired exercises that are fun and hard to do. My favorite was«il Jaguar» which has you crawling on the ground. Not only was it fun(and a little bit funny) to do, but really targeted those abs in a great way. Chardet is a great trainer. She is both encouraging and firm at the same time. She won’t let you slack off but she also won’t be on top of you the entire time. She also has two levels for each routine — so if you are at a lower fitness level you can do the modified version of that specific exercise. It is perfect for people looking to spice up their work out regiment and especially focus on legs, bum and core. For guys lifting, I would recommend using her classes one/twice a week to burn a bit of that fat. For ladies, this is perfect if you are looking to tighten up those legs, abs and bum. For those wondering about her class. What are you waiting for? Take it, you won’t regret it.

I like to be active, but am typically not a ‘workout’ person, per se. Mostly, because I tend to see it as a chore. However, this bootcamp has made me a convert. I really worked in this class, but it didn’t bother me a bit – it kept my mind and body constantly engaged, so none of the intervals ever felt like overkill. Chardet was excellent at being encouraging and motivating. I really loved this class and definitely plan to do it again.

Okay so I am not big on working out… in fact it terrifies me… but I decided to get toned for the summer and wanted to try a boot camp… I’ve tried several before and when the trainers would scream at me(I’m a baby) I would never go back to class – that being said, this bootcamp is different(I bought a package for cheap on living social)– it’s a lot of work, but Chardet is encouraging and just tough enough, after my workout I felt great. I plan on doing Corpao every weekend for the rest of the summer! It’s nice to be outside in the park using the natural elements to get in shape. If you’re thinking about getting into Brazilian hot shape try this :)

This is a full-body workout that kicks your ass in to shape and pushes your comfort zone to new limits! The instructors are certified personal trainers, who are really knowledgeable about anatomy, cardio workouts, muscular endurance and exercises geared towards weightloss. The classes are generally small and this helps to keep them personalized towards your goals or style. Since the weather is nice, I love being outside in Central Park and not inside a gym. More so, I love the Brazilian music, phrases and fun moves that are used as well! Not to be Missed!!!
