There are plenty of eyeglass shops in this neighborhood, especially this block. Opticians left and right. Who to choose? Who to choose? At 7pm on on Sunday night, my choices were quite limited. That’s how I ended up at Dennis and I’m really glad I came.
Dennis carries a pretty extensive line of glasses but what I think really stands out about this place is that they carry Matsuda’s. Once super popular in the 90’s, this rare line became close to extinct. They were popular like Oliver People is today. I haven’t bought optical wear in 5 years and on that Sunday I ended up buying two pairs. I thought it was a miracle that I found TWO pairs of glasses that flatter my place because I never find anything that looks decent on me. To top off the experience at Dennis, my glasses were ready in just 3 days! I was expecting turnover to be at least a week so being able to pick up my glasses so soon made me happy.
Overall, super pleased with my experience at Dennis.
