This store is absolutely the worst McDonald’s I have ever been to… EVER. The«employees» are inattentive, rude, and just lazy. The only reason why this place is still in business is because there aren’t any other fast food places on the same corner near the subway and nothing else in the neighborhood is open 24 hours. I can’t wait for ANYTHING else to move in and put them out of business. I’ve never had a good experience here. Currently I have been waiting 10 minutes for a sausage biscuit and hash brown. The cashier that rang me up knew that there were no has Browns ready but proceeded to do nothing about it until I told her that they had none. Her response was that she knew. Yet she did nothing. This place can remodel all it wants but it’s still a complete piece of crap. I wish I could give negative stars to express my frustration. Whoever manages this place should look at whomever was scheduled on 6⁄12 at 7am, or really any time or day because literally everyone and everything about this place sucks.

TERRIBLEMANAGER! They wouldn’t get away with this in a white neighborhood! The«chicken buttertmilk sandwhich» meat was rotten and hazzardous! When I demanded a refund the guy who is the manager had an attitude and wouldn’t give me a full refund because«you didn’t bring back the drink.» But I blame myself because I broke my own promise to NEVER go into a macdonalds!

Okay, kudos to this location for their very smart new design(see my many new photos) and good service. Highlights of this new McDonald’s store: — Kiosk screen ordering with table service. My McDouble was promptly delivered right to me, hot and fresh. The server was polite. — Free Wi-Fi with good connection(on it now). — Great seating options and elegant lamp shades. — New clean bathroom. — Soda fountain for self-serve refills. — ATM. — Basement seating is large and well suited for groups; stairs moved to south side of store. — Exterior is sharp and visible without being garish, with a new exit-only door on the W 145th St side. All in all, this is a much-needed improvement to our neighborhood. I assume the food, etc. will remain the same.

This place needs to be no stars. There are subway bathrooms that are cleaner than this dump. The smell reminds you of an homeless shelter(Not knocking a shelter). There are many clean ones. Unfortunately this is almost a throwback to a Times Square McDonald’s back in the days I’m sure the rats wake up at a certain hour and engage in culinary activities here. Please. Take care of your health and avoid this place. Love. Message to management. BLEACH is your friend.

HORRIBLETASTINGCHICKENSANDWHICH!!! I usually stay away from fast food but I was running low on cash and grabbed a sandwich from this McDonald’s. It was greasy and fatty and disgusting. Never again.

It’s an okay McDonald’s. Food is somewhat okay, but better than the other ones that are in the area. It’s somewhat clean, and the bathrooms are moderately kept clean. It was conveniently located a block from my summer job, so this was where I would grab breakfast, coffee and a bite to go.

Always a proud moment when you find yourself the(hopefully temporary) Duchess of a McDonald’s, right? On the corner of 145th& Broadway, this is the MOSTCONVENIENT McDonald’s to stop in on your way to the downtown 1 train. With that said, it is not the best McDonald’s I’ve ever visited. The food is of the usual quality standard, but it’s always crowded, loud, and honestly a little stinky. The bathroom is frequented by everyone. EVERYONE. The tables tend to be on the dirty side. The register lines are long, and they will close without warning! During peak hours, I think all of the Heights can fit inside this little corner fast food shop. But, like I said, the food is quality. The cashiers are friendly — especially if you are nice to them first! And your order comes out quickly, and error-free. So it’s worth a stop — but you might want to take your food to-go. Just sayin’.

Is this the most terrifying place in Harlem? Quite possibly. I am pretty sure they actively encourage homeless people to hang out inside, as well as kids not eating there who just want to yell at people who are. Also, the ice cream machine is always broken, the Dr. Pepper is always out, and the apple pies always have a sticker on them that says they were supposed to be thrown out 4 hours ago. I would definitely suggest eating one’s own foot over eating here.

This is the worse establishment I’ve ever visited in life! If I could give this McDonalds zero stars, I would! I generally would never rate a fast food restaurant because its a waste of time… but an exception had to be made in this case. Workers for the most part are unfriendly and unknowledgeable of menu items(especially late night). Workers are often behind the register playing around and/or gossiping; not focused on customers or preparing orders already taken. Cashier’s wait until after your food is already prepared to give you your drink. Frequently orders are wrong, I have never had a mocha from this McDonalds that consistently taste the same. Or if you ask for a hot mocha, they will bring you a cold frappé. When management is informed about mistakes she(they all seem to be women) approach you with a stone face, do not apologize and damn near has an attitude about their mistake(especially the two Afro-Latin morning Manager’s). Orders here usually take about 8−10mins too long and are often luke warm. Bums are used for a doorman EVERYDAY. Now I understand that this location is very busy and central to 145th transportation but theres no excuse for this mess! Such a shame that McDonalds can get it right in other locations, ex. 42nd st. Times Sq and then be TOTALLYNEGLECTFUL in many of the urban neighborhood’s McDonalds… hmmmm I WONDERWHY… And this location has been a dump for such a long time! More than two years. If you want a horrible customer service experience w/attitude, long wait times, unkept dinning areas, luke warm food… and on top of all of that… you get home and your order is wrong… eat here.

Mainly notable for«The McDungeon,» a hidden downstairs seating area with still air, fluorescent lighting, and no windows. There really isn’t much to say about this McDonalds, so I am just going to be reviewing the McDungeon. Pros of the McDungeon: — There’s usually seating down there, even when the upstairs is full. — Well lit; you are not going to have a difficult time seeing your food. — You can tell your friends you went there Cons of the McDungeon: — Bad vibes/harsh vibes, a bit spooky, vaguely sinister — Impossible to determine how much time has passed or what time of day it is — You will encounter 3 – 5 Mexican men with dead eyes but they mostly keep to themselves — It might literally be 1993 down there In terms of chain restaurant dungeons this one is very middle of the road. It lacks the raw sexual terror of Wienerschnitzel’s «Josef Fritzl Haus» and it’s not nearly as provocative as «Olive Garden, or the 120 Days of Sodom.» But next time the McRib drops I will probably eat here if the upstairs seating area is full.

This is a terrible McDonald’s but I have love for it because it’s my McDonald’s. There’s always a line for the bathroom and never any seats. The queues are glacial and as soon as you get to the head of the line, it closes. Posters cover all the windows so you can’t look out at the view. During Hurricane Irene, when all one wanted was a hot cup of coffee, there were no hot drinks.

The McDonald’s at 145 street where do I begin. The staff sometimes is friend, y other times nasty or pushy, god forbid you make a mistake. The outside element is atrocious they have bums acting as doormans, than these low class citizens get upset when you don’t tip. These bums don’t work for the McDonald’s but the franchise does nothing to stop them.

Seemed feasible to eat @ until I watched the lady mopping clean the bathroom and then clean the dining room without changing the water or even dipping it. Too bad I had already sat down to eat. @ least the food was tasty.

THEWORSTFASTFOODPLACEEVER. Always a huge line, no one is working, most of the employees are standing around doing absolutely nothing, they are out of everything, it takes forever if you actually find something on the menu they have, slow slow cashiers, they never make your drink right away, the bathroom is always occupied, and no matter what time you go, its always the same. and I swear the coffee they have in the morning is acid. Horrible stomach aches after, not normal.

I come here for the breakfast sandwiches and they haven’t failed so far. Very accessible from the subway stations and bus stops. Surprisingly, I get a smile and a «Have a good day» as good-byes. This is standard I suppose, but still surprising to get them at 8a in the morning. Always my back-up go-to place for my school day.

Cooking Oil is always old, resulting in really dark colored fries with a bad after taste. Usually they are old and soggy. One of the dirtiest mcDonalds I have seen. I imagine much of this can be attributed to the customers. Almost always pan handlers at the door asking for money as you go in and out. The management obviously cares nothing about providing quality food or a quality experience… even for a MCDonalds.

A standard McDonald’s franchise location with above-average cleanliness for NYC. They have AT&T wifi inside, not sure if on purpose or by accident.

This is what I hate about this location: It’s right at the intersection where my subway stop is. So, when I come home after a late night out and I’m trashed beyond all reason, this is my first stop. So much for toning and sculpting :-(
