FREE DAY AT THE SPA REVIEW!
This is a review of my full «day» at the spa with the services I received I went to planet spa today because I was offered a «free day at the spa». First off the spa day was not free. I was only told when I was getting the required accessories to use the services with that it would cost some money. I chose to use the oxygen bar with the osaki massage chair and to use the infrared sauna. I was only aloud to choose two services they offered when I use the free spa day. Which within these services you have to buy items to use them such as the individual nose piece that attaches to the oxygen therapy machine and I had to buy a sauna suit to use the sauna. This costed me $ 15.21. My girlfiriend got the same massage as me and sauna treatment with a facial. She had to pay $ 35 for those services. Before I continue I have allergy issues and a shoulder problem from an accident I was in. When I was using the oxygen bar I had to remove the tube about 5 minutes into the session because it started causing me discomfort and my nose started plugging up. On the other hand others without allergy problems would enjoy this. Before I did any of this I had to fill out a form describing any medical problems and allergy issues. When the attendant was setting up the chair for me I wasn’t asked if I had any problem areas where I was getting the massage. But we picked the least intense massage which I presumed wouldn’t hurt my shoulder because she had nothing to say about it. When I was in the chair I loved the massage everywhere but my shoulder that I had hurt previously. My shoulder was in more pain after the massage. I think it would be more enjoyable if I hadn’t had an injury. Then I went into the sauna for the pain relief service. Which I was required to wear a sauna suit for the IR sauna when putting it on it only came up to mid pectoral level on me. So i told the attendant Sarah I believe her name was. And she told me just to cut out the feet. Instead I just ripped them out for quickness. I stayed in there for about 15ish minutes out of the 30 that was determined to be the regular time. As the temperature was high constantly around 125 – 130 degrees fahrenheit with very little moisture in there it became a little hard to breathe and my heart rate went up and made it very uncomfortable. This all took about 45 minutes to complete and that is if I was in the sauna for the prescribed time. I would not consider 45 minutes to be a day at the spa. I would recommend if you want to go for a «free day at the spa» make sure you ask what fees are incurred with these services.

I was offered through my job a complimentary service. My coworker told me that the service was completely free and the girl who took care of her was friendly and professional. I was super excited, however my experience was completely different. Since the service was complimentary I didn’t come prepared to spend anything. When I got there, Sarah the owner helped me out, she showed me all of the services and then told me I could have two free services, once I chose those services she told me there would be an extra cost for the product, I told her I didn’t come with much money because the paper said complimentary. She said «sweet Jesus» and then told me the service I could get which was actually complimentary. Then she showed me some skin products, and instead of asking if I was interested she said «which one are you buying today»? She was forceful the whole experience. After 30 minutes of waiting, another lady (more professional) took me back to a room, got everything hooked up and started my massage chair. I couldn’t even relax because Sarah had an attitude, and it just completely killed the atmosphere. Will never go back to planet beach again and would not recommend it to anyone.

Please don’t waste your money with a membership here. It seems like a good deal with the amount of services you get for the money, but the services are lackluster and you’ll spend a fortune buying all of the products needed for them.
The cancellation policy is awful. We were leery at the length of the contract when we signed up and told them that we may not be around for that long. The employee ensured us that canceling wouldn’t be a problem if it was because of military orders…$ 120 later — we’ve learned our lesson.
Take the advice from the reviews and stay away from this place.

If I could give this place ZERO stars, I absolutely would.
I signed up and then about a month and a half later, wound up moving across the country, courtesy of the US Army. I went in, SHOWED them orders and they stated they would cancel my account. This was in July. I didn’t see a charge for August so I assumed they had done just that. All of the sudden I have two charges in September. TWO. That’s $ 140 total. I called and spoke with Sarah, the owner, and she told me that I had to send her the orders and she would fix it. I sent her the orders. I didn’t see a charge for October, so once again, I assumed that my account with them was properlyi cancelled.
Imagine my surprise when I see a charge for November AND December for $ 70 each. I am now having to deal with disputing these charges via my bank, in addition to closing my bank account and getting a new debit card, all because they can’t get their shit together and make good on their word.
I will NEVER use another Planet Beach location again, which is a shame because aside from the owners, this location was great.

I’ve had a previous package w/​the full amenities but recently I needed to downgrade. Eventhough I had a change in services the ladies were very patient in ensuring I was able to get another membership/​service that fit into my current needs. They have always remained professional & courteous.
With my previous membership, I loved the hydration station & the sauna w/​my Pure Sweat. Which you can use during your workouts underneath your clothing & it was a go to TOOL for a military friend ~ worked wonders!
Now, it’s all about the tan. I used the High Intensity which gave me that start if I haven’t tanned in awhile but now, it’s between hitting up the standup 1/​week & going between the VIP & Platinum to keep my color. My fave right now is Pretty Reckless & the lotion extender, Girlfriend Sexy, used for after tanning/​showers which leaves you smelling awesome ~ today I snatched up Famous Face by California Tan & Tiara by Australian Gold & both these products left my skin feeling baby soft :) Love the services & ladies! It’s meeting my current needs & i can’t complain :)

this place is the biggest rip off I have ever encountered. HUGE money waster. Never sign up for a membership, you end up paying 3 months worth of membership before they let you out of it, even if you move, get deployed etc.
