Renato Diz is a one of a kind teacher!!! He is kind, enthusiastic and PATIENT. He is always encouraging me to be my own artist and to go further. He is also a great source of knowledge, as he knows A LOT about music history, theory, performance. I implore anyone who is looking for the best piano teacher in Manhattan, to contact Renato. You will not regret it. He is fluent in so many styles and his on hand teaching makes sense :)

Renato is one of the best piano instructors ever. He is not only an accomplished, versatile musician, but also knowledgeable, caring, and passionate educator. I first met Renato at Jazz ensemble class when he was invited as a lecture last year. Since then, I have taken his private lessons. He creates a nurturing learning environment based on your musical needs, helping your music expand and deepen. Most of all, he is not the type of teacher who changes your music completely, but rather helps you connect/​find your own voice in music. I am sure that you also get inspired by his teaching style, presence, and music!

Renato is the most professional, knowledgeable Musician, piano teacher I have ever met. I started lessons with him 2 months ago and I see how smooth and easy it goes. He is very passionate about his teaching.
His has great skills make the process of learning goes 2 x faster.

Renato is the best music instructor I’ve never met before. He is «super» patient and knowledgable. He always offer the best teaching method according to students’ needs. I was taking his jazz music lessons, but at the same time, whenever I have questions about different genres of music, he always can answer my questions and can give me a lot of recommendations of music. If you are looking for a piano teacher who is patient and passionate, Renato would be your best choice!
