The Yoga Collective is located on the 6th floor of the building(room 603). I came Wednesday night for a class with Jessamyn who I met/started following via Instagram. The class was packed and the room was a bit small for all of us but we made it work. The flow was beautiful and I felt completely blissed out and badass when we finished.

The space is nice and clean, very zen. The air conditioner has saved me during a few hot summer sessions. The owners are friendly and so are the participants. Will be spending more time here for practice.

Great space! In a central location and has all the amenities one may need for a yoga class. Clean with good lighting. As a Kundalini yoga instructor, it’s a convenient and easy way to hold your own class without having to be locked into another yoga studio. Love using this shared space!

Terrible!!! Paid $ 65 and are here, in the lobby… no code to get in, no phone number, no reply to our email. We are 5 women who came from far away to do yoga together and now are waiting for a cab in 4pm traffic… bad karma for these peeps. Bad business. Very upset!!!

This place is so amazing! I rented this studio over the summer for one of my classes and totally fell in love! $ 50/hour for peak times, no extra charges per person or anything(and I think it’s even cheaper during off peak hours). The space is clean, bright, great location, and fully stocked with any props you could want! And the owners are so nice and easy to deal with– when I first booked, they got back to me that same day. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a space to host classes.

This yoga studio is located on the 6th floor of the building; the sign at the front desk says«after 7PM show ID.» But that’s all you really have to bring, the studio itself is stocked with all your favorite yoga props. The Yoga Collective is a space where independent and freelance instructors can host their own classes, outside of the space where they may normally be employed. I am midway through a four-Monday workshop with Erica Mather of Forrest Yoga, Pure East, and beyond. Erica’s teaching us how to design our own sequence that’s well suited for our individual minds and bodies. The class is made up of all skill levels, and Erica is good at inspiring and working with every one of us. It’s a deep and cerebral subject, in addition to being fun and challenging physically. This is just one example of the cool classes and workshops they offer at this great spot in west Chelsea. The space itself is pretty and inviting, with blond wood floors, purple mats and cubbies for your stuff. The bathroom is located down the hall, don’t forget the key(the ladies’ is a bit tricky to open; I haven’t yet mastered the trick!)
