Visited yesterday to catch some football and noticed that the beer selections had changed, dramatically! The wall-o-taps is now almost entirely made up of Craft, Micro-brew and Local beers! JOY!

It’s a cute restaurant, there’s a nice atmosphere, the service is good, and they keep extended hours. I ordered some sushi and a martini. The sushi was OK, and my martini had a curled up brown hair on the rim of the glass. The waitress replaced my drink and apologized profusely but it shouldn’t have happened in the first place.

GREATFOOD! Never had a bad experience with many entrees I have ordered. Dessert on the other hand… you should pass, especially the Red Velvet Cake. It is stale, whipped icing(not cream cheese) & drizzled with Strawberry Sauce(WTH?!).

We have been looking for a great sushi place since we moved here from California two years ago. It’s been tough. When we first came here it was with my mom and we all ordered sushi, although it it was tough because we found out they serve phở here and my fiancé LOVES phở(gotta try that next time!). But they also had boba tea! I love me some boba tea! The sushi was great too! I got the tuna roll And I was really debating between that and the cucumber roll, but I was super excited when I got the tuna roll it has cucumber! Best surprise ever! I also got the dragon roll which was amazing as well! Staff was friendly and engaging and the atmosphere is to die for! The ceiling has these LED lights that twinkle like stars! Plus if you like sports there are like a million TVs with everything on them. But I honestly came for the sushi :)

The whole concept with this restaurant, a Vietnamese sports bar, just baffles me, but I love it. The food is delicious. I take my family often and have ordered several of the Phở and noodle dishes and all have been wonderful. Add a patio, lots of big screen TV’s, and many beers on tap and I am set. My only concern about this place is that they don’t have one closer to my home in Fort Worth.

Great drinks, horrible sushi & service! The coconut margaritas were wonderful. When I tried ordering my waitress was either new or a complete spaz. She stopped me mid order and assured me I would not be able to eat all that which came off as rude. I’ve been eating sushi long enough to know how much I can and cannot eat. Obviously she didn’t want a bigger tip as she stopped me from ordering more food than I initially got. I got the California roll and it was disgusting! Because it’s imitation crab, I hated it. I’ve never had sushi that used fake crab. I won’t go back!

This is one of my favorite local places in Mansfield. It’s the best of both worlds of Japanese and Chinese. I go at least twice a month. Try the Vietnamese fried egg roll, Asian wings and definitely the Amazing roll. Everything taste fresh and the service is great every time my husband and I go.

The sushi was delicious here. Tried the Avalanche, the Louisiana, the Amazing roll, Crunchy Salmon roll, and Cowboy roll. All were good but my favorite was The Avalanche! The runner up was the Amazing roll. I loved the food and the prices were decent.

Delicious! This place is great. I’ve only sat in the dining room, but I’m dying to sit on their patio with a nice drink. Their food is great! I’ve gotten the phở and the pad Thai there and loved both. I feel like you can’t go wrong with their food.

Went to BFF for the first time yesterday. A friend took me there for lunch. The food was really good, I got the spicy tuna roll and a grilled chicken salad. The salad was large and very tasty(for a salad). The staff was very nice and prompt. I enjoyed it so much that I later took my wife there for dinner the same night. I then had the vermicelli(#10) and my wife had the Pad Thai with chicken and we split the amazing roll. Again, the food was amazing and we’ll portioned. I got two Captain and cokes that I thought could have used a little less coke but that may just my alcoholic tendencies! Anna Marie was our server and she did a fantastic job and was very professional and courteous. The manager later brought our bill and shook both our hands which I thought was really cool. That’s a first for us(sadly to say) so kudos to you sir! Needless to say, well be back

I have gone back to BFF2 – 4 times since my initial review. Their biggest mistake is that they have stopped giving customers fresh baked bread which was amazing. Once restaurants make that part of their value– you kind of feel shorted when they don’t do it any more. The food continues to be good but the waitresses still have no clue what they are doing and have to go to kitchen to ask questions just for me to order some sushi. Also, when I have gone the last few times– there have been waitresses and managers just sitting at the bar.

Too inconsistent for a 4+ rating, but it’s a decent spot if you order something simple. Tonight’s crab rangoons were crispy but cold, sushi roll was good, lemon pepper wings were more seasoning than chicken, and WTF is sugar doing in the lemon pepper??? Should’ve gone to Fuzzys…

Yes, another update. We went there for dinner last night. The hostesses looked bored. Quite a turn-off. The dining room was a bit messy — some trash on the floor near the first booth we were seated at. The table wasn’t clean so we moved. That table had this weird greasy haze on it. A very sweet busboy came over and wiped down the table, but as hubby noted, the black granite is killing them. How about using a cleaner that actually gets rid of the grease instead of just smearing it around?! They were in full-on bar mode. The music was loud, and the bar was full of regulars — one of whom kept yelling«OHSHIT!» when another buddy would walk in. I am not a prude when it comes to language, but come on… the people in the dining room are trying to eat, not experience a frat house. Our waitress greeted us right after our butts hit the seats, asking us what we wanted to drink. Her follow-up question(our menus were closed, BTW) was if we wanted an app. We sort of looked at her and blinked. «No idea,» I said to the second question. A waiter took over and he was so very pleasant. His act was so well together that he probably won’t last long there because I have a feeling their ongoing front-of-house issues will wear on him. The food is great. Not worth all the above issues so I’ll wait another six months before going back.

Had a wonderful dinner here. We ordered the potstickers as an appetizer and it came out quickly and was cooked properly and tasted good. I ordered the chicken vermicelli and it was more than I could eat! Very good and flavorful. Service was attentive and on to of things. A very good experience here and I will definitely be back. The atmosphere was very nice as well with clay décor.

Last week I had the wonderful opportunity to visit this new BFF location with a handful of wonderful Unilocalers. I don’t go to Mansfield very often, but within all its suburban-ness are several great restaurants and shopping centers worth perusing. And everything seems so nice and new and sparkling clean… pleasing to the eye! This BFF emanates an upscale vibe, but the attitude here is totally casual, which I love. Beautiful architecture, walls, floors, lighting, and seating. The bar is grand and full of soooooo much craft beer, and the patio is a huge, pretty, climate-controlled space complete with a babbling pond. BFF is definitely easy on the eyes. You’ll feel special walking through the doors. The menu was a bit overwhelming to me, but Vietnamese restaurants always seem to have SOMUCHFOOD on their menus. BFF describes itself as French Vietnamese, and they have everything from banh mi, to sushi and sashimi, to rice vermicelli, to spring rolls, to phở. But THEN, you can also find corn fritters, chicken wings, clam chowder, and gumbo! It’s a gigantic menu with so many appetizers and entrees. Surely you’ll find something you love; everyone around me seemed to really enjoy their multifarious orders. To feed the GF me, I ordered meatless phở(I can eat meat, okay, I just didn’t feel like it) and asked the sushi chef about the sushi. He told me he’d come up with something for me! The phở was great; super flavorful and served with plenty of basil, beansprouts, jalepenos, and lime. It was a little too salty I think, but I still ate it all. The experimental GF sushi was rice-less(malt vinegar, damn you), but still delicious. Buttery fish wrapped in fresh, crunchy cucumber and dotted with bacon bits and sriracha. Bacon on sushi? I’ll take it! We visited on opening weekend, so it was pretty busy and the service wasn’t perfection(quite a few lost/incorrect orders). However, the staff was incredibly friendly — so I was 100% happy. We were able to chat with the owner for a few minutes as well, and he was the most welcoming, smiley man ever. Become bffs with BFF!
