I would not buy from these guys if they paid me! Their customer service is awful. Here is an example of an email I got. All I did was ask for a discount on buying four $ 500 power supplies…
This item is the same price if you order 4 or 40, $ 440.00. I have 14 in stock so you may place an order for 4 pieces.

They’re legit. I made a couple of orders, products arrived as advertised and shipping was really fast (arrived within two days). Customer service is really friendly, too.

I have been buying parts from Mouser for more than 15 years. They are rock solid in shipping and inventory, and exceptionally prompt. When I have a problem, they are generous and prompt in dealing with it. I can’t ask for more from them.

I just had my first experience with Mouser. Overall I was satisfied with my experience. I ordered mid December and my package never arrived. USPS claimed delivery of package. I’ve lived in the same zip code for close to 20 years and somehow USPS manages to make it an expedition for me to hunt down my package or letter time after time.
I used Mouser’s customer service via chat/​IM and got plenty of help to go back to USPS and attempt location of package. Unfortunately, they still claim delivery and suggest that it may have be stolen by someone. Yeah a small 2oz package. I guess its possible.
Nevertheless, long story short Mouser took care of it for me. Processed another replacement order at no extra charge and shipping it via UPS ground to boot and I can see it being processed in real time under my order history. I will continue to order from Mouser in the future and suggest you do the same… Just do not have it shipped to you via USPS.

My order of a dozen parts was processed and shipped in a timely manner; the price of the parts, the cost of shipping, and the time to deliver were totally reasonable.
Their descriptions of items is very thorough. I would have given Mouser a 5 star rating but shaved a star off for these items:
1) I had to look at both Mouser’s description and the manufacturer’s description
to get the right part
2) one part I had considered ordering had a five-​day delay; when I came back
three days later to order, there was still a five-​day delay on that part
3) one part I had considered ordering would have been back-​ordered; shipping
that 50-​cent part would have entailed an extra $ 5 delivery charge
4) even when the order was placed, it was implied that the price was not final; if
the order had to be broken into two packages, there would have been an
extra delivery charge

Mouser is my first choice when I need to order an electronic component. There are many distributors out there that carry similar products, but Mouser has the best reliability when it comes to receiving an item the next day. They email you a link to the tracking number with your shipment notification. So far they have been 100% on time.
Mouser also has the best technical support. I was looking for a relay with a lower profile than the one I was using, and they spent around ten minutes with me on the phone to search out the best option for my application.
Their web page search engine works well if you know the parameters for what your looking for. Fortunately they give you a datasheet link to most search results so you don’t have to do more web searching. You can create a compare list between components, so the important specifications will display next to each other for quick correlation.
They offer on their web site an enhanced online catalog if you prefer searching the old fashioned way. I like the browse by supplier option. If I know who made the item, I can find it faster that way. You can create an account and save your search history and create bookmarks and look up your order history.
There is an interesting bill of material import tool that will find the Mouser part number automatically, or provide suggestions based on a suppliers name and part description.
They also have no minimum order requirement and a 30 day return policy.

1000 stars! Parts are always shipped fast and the prices are great! I paid for USPS shipping on a recent order and it was upgraded to a faster shipping method for the same price (NOTE: this may have been a glitch). You can see how much shipping will cost before placing the order by selecting the «estimate shipping» link below the order total in your cart. I have never been charged more than this estimate. Mouser was founded by one guy working in his spare time from home, and I get the feeling that this company has not lost their focus on the home hobbyist.
I highly recommend this company for all of your electronics needs.

Great selection, good prices, but shipping is ridiculous. You can’t find out how much shipping is till after you receive your order. Deceptive and fraudulent tactics. They claim that they charge actual shipping rates but there is no way it costs $ 18 to ship a 5 oz package from TX to CA. Also they charge 10% sales tax to ship to los angeles, even though they are located in TX! Stupid!

Ripoff company. Their shipping costs are ridiculous. They use the bait and switch method with shipping costs. If the estimated shipping is $ 5, when they charge your credit card it will jump up to $ 10. You want me to pay $ 10 to send a 2 ounce part through the mail? I don’t think so

We use Mouser at my company quite a bit. At least my techs do. When they needed to find better sources for electronics supplies, Mouser came through.
From optoelectronics to semiconductors, sensors to thermal management, interconnects to circuit protection, the guys that take care of my electronic stuff have found a consistent source of quality components at reasonable prices at Mouser.
From my perspective, they are easy to deal with, rarely have issues with billing, shipping, etc. The simpler my customer experience, the better in some cases.
Now run along and fix something, won’t you?
