People need to know about the insurance they are signing up for, do your research, and not bad mouth people who are doing their job, you have other places to go to get a xray, again do your research, ask your doctor? I’m just saying…

I came here for a chest X-ray on a cash pay basis and I walked in thinking it was going to be over $ 100 but it was only $ 35. Mind you these places do require a referral or an order from your physicians just like you would need one to go see a specialist. I came here once prior when I had insurance and they went above and beyond. I understand that it is my responsibility to contact my insurance prior to finding out what my copays etc would be but the ladies there were awesome and did all that for me as I waited to be seen. we all know how horrible it is trying to get in contact with insurance companies and waiting to speak with them. I appreciate all their help and this place is great! They will get you in and out for a simple X-ray and try to accommodate your needs as much as possible for other exams that require appointments. All in all this place is great and facility is super clean!

This place is ridiculous. I was sent here after visiting the urgent care clinic to see if I could possibly have pneumonia. I needed a chest X-ray, that’s it. I’m called back at first to speak with a woman in financing. I gave her my insurance info and she told me my insurance won’t cover the X-ray and my total for this simple, basic chest X-ray is over $ 1,000. She proceeds to tell me I’m responsible for it all and asked how I will pay for this. I had to put a down payment and would be billed for the rest. Sick, confused and feeling obligated, I went ahead with the X-ray because it was my health I was concerned about. It took less than 5 minutes for the X-ray. You’d think for $ 1,000 I’d get a DVD of my experience, a radiologist reading my X-ray within a minute and a T-shirt saying I lost all my money getting a chest X-ray at Manteca Imaging Center. However, I walked out empty handed and lost my trip to Comic Con this year. I was also told I would have my results by the end of the day… I guess they lost my results in the big pile of money they must roll around in from over charging for simple X-rays. My guess is that the urgent care gets nice kickbacks from this place for all the referrals. UPDATE: I called the clinic because I didn’t hear anything yesterday and they never faxed anything over. Guess marking STAT on the order means nothing to them. Make a mental note of that, doctors. So now I wait… again. Still coughing and sounding like a TB queen but no rush people. Keep making those dollars.

Worst experience coming to this place. Today we had a appointment to do a follow up on how our baby is doing and the ultra sound tech(KAREN) was very rude and had a negative attitude the whole time we were there. If we asked her a question her answer would be your doctor will tell you the results. Very RUDE!!! I felt like telling her off !!

Terrible customer service! This belong to the nearby Doctor’s Hospital. The first time I went here, they charged me a co-pay when there wasn’t supposed to be one! When I asked them why, they hemmed and hawed but couldn’t explain it. Ask to speak to the manager and you’re in for a royal confrontation. On the second time when I needed their services, they again made me jump through hoops. As far as how well they do their job beyond that, I’m not a doctor so I don’t know. My preference in the future is to go to Stockton for any diagnostics.

Great place, state of the art NEW facility and great Customer service! Stopped in after my doctor visit, with my doctors order, and spoke with Kodie. She said come back after lunch and will take care of you! When I got back she had already prepared my paperwork and was ready to send me back to get my ultrasounds done! Very friendly very thorough wonderful experience Lori, Tech III, was very professional explain ing the processes to me as she went along! Very friendly and made me feel comfortable!

After hurting my ankle recently the doctor at Main Street Urgent Care ordered some x-rays to be done. Since they have no in house x-rays at their facility I was sent here. This is a new facility in Manteca and it is literally around the corner from my house. You can tell it is very new because of how nice everything looks. I am sorry to say my experience did not reflect that however. When I arrived the office was empty which i considered a good thing because I had other things to do and was hoping for an in and out kind of thing. No such luck. I come in and hand the receptionist my referral slip and she looks at it and asks me for insurance card and ID. So far everything is normal. Then she says she has to call the urgent care clinic because there is no diagnostic written on the paper. I told her the doctor did not know exactly what was wrong with my ankle hence why I am there getting x-rays and she told me that she wanted the reason I was being seen for my ankle, like for example ankle pain, I told her that was exactly why I went in there because my ankle was hurting and I could barely walk on it. That was not good enough for her though. I had to wait 15 minutes for her to call the urgent care so they can tell her the same thing. Meanwhile people were coming in at this point and they were getting taken to the back right away even though I had been there before them. I was not happy. I mean seriously why else would I go to an urgent care about my ankle and I thought my reason and word should have been enough. Further more, I have hurt my ankle in the past(it is weak due to a past surgery on it and it has metal in it) and I have been to have it x-rayed and I have never had to wait while they called to see why I went to the doctor in the first place. The girl was polite and apologetic about it after the fact and I am thankful for that but I still think that was ridiculous and unnecessary. I finally got taken into the back and the gentlemen doing the x-ray was very nice, polite and fast. I was done in just a few minutes which is the way it should be. So unnecessary wait aside I had a good experience. It is a really nice place. Hope I don’t hurt myself again any time soon and have to go back. Just make sure the reason for your visit is written on your referral sheet or prepare for a wait! I’m sorry but two stars down for that.
