This has been a review way past due. When searching for our first home to buy in California we inquired about a few homes on
. Robert was the first of many to respond and told us we would be in good hands. He set us up with a realtor named Bree Meloan. On the phone she seemed like a go getter and married to someone in the military, me being in the military as well I thought this person knows what it’s like she will take care of us. We were way off, and the nightmare began since day one of landing. We flew from Hawaii were we lived at the time to look at houses for 5 days and make offers on homes. She was not up front with us. We wanted to live in Ramona, we told her our situation and what we needed for a house to even interest us. She did nothing but waste our time and money. We did hear back on a house we looked at, but so many things were wrong with the VA guidelines of purchasing the home we basically walked in and did a u-​turn out. Bree being desperate and knew the sellers were somewhat desperate to sell and to lazy to look at other homes we made offers on talked us straight into buying a nightmare of a home. At first I felt taken advantage of, I wanted to own a home and wanted to seize the opportunity before I got sucked back into the renters life. A fresh move, a new home, and perfect timing. She did everything humanly possible to make sure we bought this house. Every red flag that could come up she was there to knock it back down. Lie, deceive, nothing was off limits. She paid for our home inspection, nice I thought. After being in the home I soon realized the the home inspector worked for her not me and now realizing probably a close friend. The bathroom in our home when we moved in had to be gutted to the studs and redone to stop further damage. Outlets all over the home were messed up and still are, this being something she told us was going to be fixed. I understand a general home inspection, but every time we turn the hot water on it sound like someone it hitting the pipes with a hammer inside the walls, this was never reported in the inspection. When we left California we had no responses on homes. During the time looking at houses we were disgruntled with her quite often. And feel like this was a way of revenge. She wrote off mileage on our rental and my gas as we drove her around when looking at houses, and probably does this often since she suggested it. We preferred this only because her car was filthy, a mess and one more McDonald’s cup away from thinking she lived out of her car. She was unprofessional, racist, and a down right disgusting individual. When browsing for homes in Escondido she made off color Hispanic jokes not even realizing we were both Hispanic. She set us up with our lender who was just as bad if not worse and he got what he deserved and I will be writing a review on his company next. I’m sure not all realtors from Allison James are this bad but make sure to never let Robert set you up with Bree Meloan, she will screw you over and you will regret every second of it. Sorry Robert this has to go on your Unilocal but you are somewhat to blame and there isn’t a page for Bree. If she is still working for you she needs to be investigated and I am still putting things together on my end to take legal action.
