We dropped in for dinner with couple we dine out with regularly. Always looking for new places to try, we figured«well, why not?» It was across the parking lot from the very busy Chinese restaurant we originally planned. So, here’s our experience in chronological order. 7:00PM Arrived and waited to be seated. The restaurant was not very busy at all, but it took nearly 10 minutes for the hostess/waitress to notice us and get us seated. 7:10 At our table, there were 2 place settings for the four of us. This wasn’t fixed until we were well into our appetizers. 7:20 The hostess brought us water and said our server would be there shortly. 7:30 Our server finally got around to taking drink and appy orders 7:50 Our server came back around and we got down to ordering dinner 8:00 Appetizers arrived 8:05 Noticed that a party who arrived after we did was being served their dinner 8:40 Dinner served — Now, I will only comment on what I had. The Veal Piccata. The medallions of veal were rather tough. Usually, I’m able to cut veal with my fork, but had to use a knife on these. The risotto was good, the sauce had nice flavor. 9:30 Finished with desert and after dinner drinks, it took about another 15 minutes for the check to arrive, and another 10 to take care of the credit card. 3AM — My dinner has taken the E-Ticket and announced its desire to rapidly leave my body. This was not fun, and I spent the next 12 hours not wanting to stray too far from the bathroom. 3 stars(barely) for the service 1 Star for the meal«experience» Won’t be back.

Ordered the salmon spinich salad. The Salmon was good but the salad was stuffed into a small bowl with globs of dressing that wasn’t stirred in. The dressing was not good. The salad was disappointing for $ 18.00.

I only gave two stars instead of one because the food was tasty. That evening after coming home I was sick with food poisoning. I will not be back. Once we were seated I put my napkin in my lap and an earwig flew out of the napkin and landed in my lap. That should’ve been my sign to leave but I didn’t want to disappoint my hubby to cancel our dinner date. I think the young girls who are serving just need more training, because the service wasn’t too good. I was never offered a refill on my iced tea all evening and had to switch to my water.

I have come here half a dozen times and always had a great experience. I have liked everything I have tried as well. It’s a bit pricey but is worth the money. The drink menu and dessert menu are great.

Poor service, tiny portions, sloppy servers. Expected MUCH more for the prices of the meals. Wanted to stay and chat after our meal but it was SO cold in there we left. Also the people behind us spilled their drink, and nobody came to help them clean up the mess. Weren’t busy at all. Only thing saving this from a 1 star review is that the food tasted good. But $ 20 for 5 small raviolis? Come on.

The waitress/hostess seemed highly stressed and didn’t address my party to be seated or give a waiting time. I waited/sat for 10min without a word. They must be short staffed. I’ve never tried this place and wanted to due to the high Unilocal review, but I don’t think I’ll ever come back to my bad first experience.

Horrible food. We have been here a couple of times since there is no much places in maple valley to eat. Every dish I have ever gotten is really salty and the pasta taste like something you can get at safeway. There bread is extremely stale but the vinegar is good(only thing that is good) and there desert cakes lack flavor and are dry.

Overpriced. High prices imply a high bar. The bar wasn’t set all that high. Food is okay, but not for the emperor’s tribute demanded for it. Meh. Not coming back.

Pretty mediocre food and not a great value. Went once and was underwhelmed so I tried it again a few months later. Similar experience. The food failed to deliver a memorable experience and the service was average. This place isn’t bad, but it isn’t great either and with higher prices than what I would expect for a similar experience I don’t see myself heading back.

Enjoyed the ambiance and food. The Campanelle were delicious. A wonderful find. Maybe the cost of the dishes is why the parking lot and dining area were not reflective of the quality of food.

If this was the best MV had to offer I might just avoid this entire area as a whole. From the tacky paper table covers to the terrible service the only thing saving this place from a 2 star review is the decent food. The bread is home made. The salad average. The lasagna was delicious. The fettuccini was runny. And our drinks were never refilled. I just expect better for the price.

Superb, eclectic, and delicious private cocktail menu with a fabulous bartender. Very nice menu with plenty of choices including veal and some interesting and tasty pasta dishes. The service is friendly, helpful, and professional. We’re fortunate in Maple Valley to have such a nice little restaurant.

Terrible location, decent food. I think they feel like they’re a little better than they are by the way they price their menu, but it’s not a bad meal at all.

Spectacular menu, great service, and one of the most eclectic unexpected private bar menus on the Eastside. What the hell is this place doing in Maple Valley? :)

This is the best food in Maple Valley! Prices slightly higher than other places, but for a nice evening out, this is a great deal.

We love this place. We have lived in Maple Valley for 10 years and this is our go to DATE place for my wife and I. The twin beef tenderloin is our favorite steak anywhere(over Jaks, Ruth Chris, DANIELS, or El Goucho :-) Always friendly great service. Bread and salads are amazing as well. Top notch place and I’m so happy they are here in Maple Valley.

It’s a Friday @ 7:30 we Checked in for a party of 6. 1⁄3 of the seats are empty. 15 to 20 min wait. Wait for what I have no idea. We were seated food came out hot good flavor. It might have been a lil heavy on the garlic. But over all not bad. Server he was great! Over all it was ok. Not sure ill be back.

I was very impressed by the décor of this restaurant! Nice comfortable space with a elegant feel. The prices are very high and the food not so good. Pasta dishes were swimming in cream sauce with little flavor. Noodles overcooked. Service poor. Lacked attentiveness with repeated requests for items being requested. I appreciate this restaurant being in the area as nice dining options lack, but the quality of service and food flavoring will not bring me back.

Extremely nice resteraunt to go on a «date». Not a cheap or even average resteraunt. Most plates range from $ 15 – 25. I had the«Portobello Pasta» it was to die for. My husband had the«Halibut and chips» very good. GREATFOOD, You have to try it at least ONCE! The atmosphere is homey, and you don’t feel like your in Maple Valley. more like a Bellevue atmosphere.

Maple Valley is lucky to have a place like Gino’s. Quality is the mantra here, which is a little bit at odds with the fact that it’s located in a strip mall next to the 4 Corners Tavern. As soon as you forget about that detail(and you will), you can appreciate Gino’s for what it is: a fantastic restaurant. Hard to believe this used to be a Shakey’s pizza! Their bread is homemade and delicious, the steaks are always tender and perfectly cooked, and the cocktails are creative. Overall, nicest dining experience in the MV area and worth the extra dough.
