This is my favorite coffee place in town. I am a coffee snob and it is fabulous. I have never had a bad cup of coffee. One night I was in pjs and had planned to drive through but it was closed– she came out to my car! Great service!

I really like this place. I like the coffee. I like the wine. I like the food. But, to clarify, I’ve only had some of the salads. They’re delicious. Sometimes the baristas and wait staff aren’t the super friendliest, but they’re pretty busy. I like the location. The prices aren’t too bad. It’s a great atmosphere, too.

I usually always have a great experience at Ristrettos. Haven’t been back in a while, but I recommend it to anyone who wants a nice glass of wine next to a cozy fire in the area!

I must say this is the best coffee shop in Washington. Not only do the have an amazing cup of joe the food is great and the staff is friendly. This is my daily stop and meet up space for business. If you have never stopped by and your sick of Charbucks, I promise you will become a fan!!!

I only give the second star because the coffee is good but it really doesn’t matter how good the coffee is if you leave feeling like you’re day just got off on the wrong foot because you were doing everything in your power not to lower yourself to the level of the immature attitude of the person who should have sent you out the door smiling. Do Not give me a dirty look and talk down to me as if I don’t know the way an espresso should taste when I have had true espresso in Italy, France, and Spain, pulled to perfection. I lived in Portland and was served daily by award winning baristas, who had NO attitude even though they actually kinda had a right to, if they wished. The girls at Ristretto are actually younger than my children and somehow believe they need to school me on the ways of coffee. I urge the owner to hire some sincere and humble servers and baristas that can take this establishment into a great place to experience. Until then, I’d rather drink burnt coffee from Starbucks and walk away smiling and feeling respected and appreciated as a customer. Imagine that, I get treated better by employees at STARBUCkS, now that’s down right embarrassing for any true coffee establishment.

A pleasant place to sit and enjoy a drink however they do overcharge for their wine. $ 8.00 per glass of red wine. I found the entire bottle being sold at FredMeyer for the exact price of $ 8.00. I understand the business aspects of it all however the charge per glass is what the entire bottle costs and is a complete rip off. But the business is very nice inside and employees are friendly.

Great for drinks and appetizers. Cool, rustic ambiance. The Boards are awesome apps and great to share. Mushrooms, amazing. The Cubano was WAY to salty and when we notified the waitress she said, «it’s the nature of the sandwich, it’s the kind of meat». Which I get, prosciutto is salty. But so salty it’s to hard to eat? Eh, i don’t know… So far, haven’t been disappointed with drinks and appetizers. The Carmel macchiato is awesome! Will have to try food again to see if we can get to 4 stars!

After reading the reviews for this place I was kind of surprised, I’ve only had good experiences here and today was no exception! The barista was so friendly and sweet! We ordered our drinks and sat outside. They brought the drinks out in less than 2 minutes. Their coffee is amazing every single time and their food and wine is always good. I love this cute rustic place and love to come here every time!

If I could give them 0 stars, I would… The service gets worse every time I go. The girls working have no sense of urgency, have no server sequence or sales skills whatsoever. One of the girls actual was talking to her boyfriend, looked directly at my empty glass of wine, made eye contact with me, and walked back towards the drive through window. I had to get my tab at the register, which wouldn’t have been so bad if the other girl didn’t have her back to the restaurant, texting on her phone and then looked up at me like I was a bother to her. Hey, if you want to make any $$$ maybe your staff should try suggesting something to your guests… You have people running this place into the ground… From the management all the way to the hourly staff.

Ristretto’s has all the potential to be amazing but, no surprise, disappoints. Their baristas are extremely bitchy and judge mental, and being a barista myself, I know that it is not hard to be kind, even to rude customers. I try my hardest not to go there but sometimes, I have to make an emergency visit. Last time, I ordered a raspberry Redbull with cream. A VERY plain order, pretty hard to mess up. They poured an 8.4 ounce Redbull into a 16oz cup, with cream and raspberry syrup. Leaving me with approximately 2.5 ice cubes. I know from experience that a flavored Redbull is usually a 8.4 can poured into a 20 or 24oz cup, with more than enough ice, and flavor or cream or both. I hate to be one of those difficult people, because I deal with it every day at my job, but sometimes, employees and business owners need to be held accountable.

It’s sad when you have to change your initial glowing review because of a series of bad experiences that don’t seem to be getting better anytime soon. I still love the coffee and the atmosphere but man, the service has gotten really really bad. It used to be that the baristas were very friendly and helpful. Every time I go in now I’m met with a scowl and majorly bitchy attitudes. My husband has even stopped wanting to go there because he feels«judged and uncomfortable» every time with all the side-eye and attitude. Not at all appealing for a coffee house. Also, the«baked goods and«café goods» are usually from Costco and just marked up. No thanks, I can go shopping there myself for the same things.

After visiting Ristrettos on numerous occasions, my opinion has dwindled every single time. First time I visited, I was obsessed. Their Mocha Frappé is absolutely delicious every time I visit, without fail. The atmosphere is really nice too, really cozy and inviting. However, the service quite honestly… sucks. The girls are incredibly rude, have major resting bitch face, and are extremely unhelpful. I once went through the drive thru, I proceeded to get bitched at and had to tell the barista 4 times what I ordered, once at the speaker and 3 times when I actually got to the window. The manager is really nice, but other than that, get ready for a lot of dirty looks, side eye, and incredibly dull/rude baristas.

I’ve been to Ristrettos many times and I do enjoy coming there. Inside is beautiful and is very rustic. They also have an outside patio, which is perfect for eating out with a friend or getting down to read a book on a sunny day. The coffee was alright, nothing too special. Though they’re food on the other hand is amazing! I’ve tried a lot of their sandwiches and loved them all! Their strawberry or raspberry Italian sodas are really good as well.

Fabulously delicious! Wow I have enjoyed the food here both times I have come. The pastrami tonight was piled on my Reuben and so tasty and juicy. Gina the owner comes around to your table and makes sure that everything is good. She makes suggestions for wines and food and she is just a really great gal. Tonight they had on special a Cabernet Sauvignon called The Expedition, from Canoe Ridge winery and it was so smooth and siliceous. The atmosphere is cozy, tonight we got a spot right next to the fireplace in comfy upholstered chairs. The first time I came here in August we were able to sit out on the patio on a warm summer evening and it was delightful. I will come here as often as I can and I recommend it to everyone.

Wines and basic foods are pretty good. The coffee however, is not. They push too much water through and if you get a 16 ounce you can hardly taste the coffee. I like mine strong and an extra shot didn’t make it taste better :/ Also the service is not reliable every time I go it’s either hit or miss. My husband and I had sliders and brews on the patio and it was great and the service was good also, two days later I came through drive through for a latte and couldn’t even get a courteous greeting from the dark haired gal at the window… Plus the coffee was awful. I wish they could get more consistency and maybe I could be more consistent in my patronage.
