I’ve had good Thai food and bad Thai food. This is very good. Both the Thai Basil stir fry and Pad Thai were flavorful and contained plenty of protein (I chose chicken in both). Spice level was adequate for me; not painful but I’m a bit biased in the spice department. Never thought I’d find good Thai food in Maplewood, let alone in a library. Hope they stick around for a while.

My search for the best Pad Thai in the Twin Cities is over! They even serve organic tofu as a protein option! Also, the Sticky Rice with Thai Custard is the best dessert deal around! For under $ 5 you get a sweet portion of bliss!

A ok Thai food, was spicier than asked for but he just laughed and said you have not had Thai spice. We eat out at Thai alot so I know to ask for mild. They have many other snacks and coffee drinks and did not have much business. IF they would just re-market themselves they could be packed — there are (I counted) at LEAST SIXTEEN signs saying «THIS SEATING IS FOR CUSTOMERS ONLY» and it just makes for an unfriendly feeling. They are located in the side room of the Maplewood (north) library, by the mall.
JUST GET RID of the signs, state it once — then a sign like, «come see all the delicious items we have for under $ 5.00», or Relax here with a hot coffee, etc.
I hope the owners read this, seemed unable to really converse in person so not worth trying to explain how unfriendly they look.

The food at this restaurant is delicious. The menu is fabulous and varied; the food is fresh, fresh, fresh; the service was impeccable; and the prices are reasonable. This is not your run-of-the-mill Thai restaurant. Please give it a try. I will definitely go there again.

I am stunned and bamboozled that one can get great Thai food at The Library. Does the Twin Cities have the greatest library system anywhere? Probably.

I love this place. It is so clean and cozy. They make great coffee and tea and now and now some really interesting Thai food. They are trying really hard to have a nice little café in the library. I’ve stopped in a few times and each time was really impressed with what they are doing. Help support them! You’ll be glad you did.
