The portions were horrible and the manager was an asshole. He needs to learn from the store on arsenal at grand. They welcome you, treat you right and serve you with respect. This one on Hanley makes you want to go chipotle. The young man making the food was very nice, but for some reason the manager came up and started rushing us and being very rude. Needless to say I will continue to go the one in south city and hopefully the one here in Maplewood commons will learn from them. I wish I could take away the one star I gave them.

Normal Qdoba with the same consistency as all others but conveniently located close to my current residence and is really close to everything else. Let’s face it, it’s not all fancy here but it does the trick when you are hungry and have no time to sit down and get all fancy. I have always had fantastic service here, when I order double meat, they always make sure my burrito bowl is overflowing with goodness and I have always been satisfied in the end. The place is always clean, ordering is fairly organized and they normally have several people working the food assembly line and counter especially during the busy weekday lunch hours. I tend to come in when they are packed but I can usually be in and out in 5 minutes or less. Since I live so close, I usually get my orders to go and don’t need drinks so I have never really ordered a meal here. Overall, this place is pretty good so give it a chance!

This will be my last day eating at Qdoba.(And I have been eating here for years). 1 chicken burrito + a drink = $ 10.52. Really?! If other places can offer same food for cheaper price so can Qdoba.

Way better than chipotle. Fresh and always good service. I eat here for lunch at least once a week and have only had one bad time there, which was not qdoba employees fault, it was some jerk who decided to come in and order lunch for there entire office at once without calling ahead, they took care of them and offered free drinks to everyone in line(about 5 people) for having to wait. That was extremely nice and they did not have to do that.

I’ve been to this Qdoba location multiple times and the thing I appreciate most is their service and consistency. The staff is always quick on their feet, brisk, and never mess up my order(granted, I’m standing right there so I can always make sure). The food is always the same quality — standard Qdoba fair served warm. The rice is always fluffy, beans are not too soft or hard, chicken isn’t overcooked, and the queso and quacamole are always prime. I typically get the craft 2 and choose the 3-cheese nachos and small burrito. I say small, but that’s only in comparison to the full size one, which consistently reminds me of the size a small infant might be, wrapped in tortilla swaddling. Qdoba is nice because all the ingredients taste and feel fresh, so even though they serve you a lot, it doesn’t feel like a ton of calories(I said«feel» — I did not look up how many calories are in my usual meal.) If anything, I recommend ordering a side of chips with queso — they’re slightly salty with a lime taste. I particularly enjoy the occasional extra salty one that inevitably appears.

Normally Qdoba would get about 3 stars but this one gets too many haters. It’s a completely normal Qdoba, people. What did you expect? Unless you’ve never been to a Qdoba before, nothing is crazy about this place. I’ve come in at least 15 times and I’ve never had bad service. One time I was given a free sample of a soda flavor by a nice employee! It made my day better. If you’ve been to Qdoba, you know what to expect. If you haven’t, come try it at least once!

«I’ll have a taco salad without the shell please.» — me «why don’t you want the shell?» — qdoba «doctors orders» — me «what kind of meat? „- qdoba “ pork» — me «if you’re not having a shell, you probably shouldn’t be ordering pork then. «- qdoba Who the fu(# do you think you are? Why would you question any customer’s order? Much more, a pregnant woman’s order? Seriously. So. Rude. Thanks for making my salad taste like judgement.

This may not come to a big surprise to a lot of Qdoba fans but I went here with my girlfriend for my very first time and got 2 beef burritos 2 small drinks, side of chips and queso sauce. The chips were stale the queso was cold and the burrito was very bland and the total cost was $ 32. Ive been to Taco Bell and got equal quality and have been to nice sit down Mexican restaurants and paid less. It’s very loud and has metal table tops therefore there was absolutely nothing remotely special about here. I wouldn’t recommend going here

Staff is very rush rush and unfriendly. I’ll stick with Chipotle, where the food is better and the staff much more welcoming.

Hard to see what keeps this place afloat. The service? Nope — the staff seems alternately indifferent, resentful and annoyed by the customers. The food? Nope — it’s bland, and certainly nothing special. The value? Nope — a single burrito is about $ 7, and it’s not a large burrito. The ambience? Nope — with the harsh acoustics, the clatter of metal pans on metal tables, toss in a crying toddler or two, and Qdoba is noisier than a busy blacksmith’s shop.

Not fast food but good food done fast. Seems fresh and at a decent price if you are on the go.

I’ve gone to the Maplewood Qdoba at least a dozen times, and have yet to be disappointed. Their service is always quick, the portions are generous, and the food is delicious. Recently I got hooked on the Steak queso burrito, and I don’t imagine I’ll be switching anytime soon. If you get the naked burrito, you get free salsa chips too. Bottom line, their queso makes their burritos better than Chipotle’s, and this particular location rocks.

I said last week that I would be going back to a qdoba, and I did! I got the grilled chicken taco salad which was pretty good. Although the taco shell is pretty filling since its fried. Most likely ill stick to the burrito.

Why do I love Qdoba so much? It’s a really different tasting kind of Mexican. I can’t say whether or not it’s authentic enough, but it is delicious. The fajita ranchera burrito is good, and the 3 queso nachos are unbelievably delicious. Make sure you ask for extras queso. :) The customer service is what you would expect from a chain restaurant, but you will like the food. :)

I’m not sure why anyone would go here over Chipotle. Chipotle’s food tastes far superior and it’s the same price.

Meh. I’m not sure why we still go here after we discovered there is a Chipotle in nearby Clayton. A lot of options, and fresh ingredients make it better than most«fast food» type places, though the quality of their meat is questionable to me. The service is hit or miss — I’ve been there and they’ve been nice, and I’ve been there other times and they look like they want to kill you — so, eh, either way, not super great, but I will eat here and not bitch about it. Though every time, my boyfriend and I always look at each other and say, «we should have just gone to Chipotle».

Their food here is OK, but I go here more because my husband loves it. The soft shell tacos fall apart, the hard shell tacos are slopped together and messy. The nachos have all the best ingredients on the bottom, making them hard to eat. The burritos I’ve had are oversized and a little dry-ish in the taste area, compared to lots of other burritos I’ve had at other locations. They do have healthy options and they are quick with a decent reward program though.

What do all Mexican/Tex Mex places have in common? Free chips and salsa. Not Qdoba, which is a major downfall in my opinion. I ordered a vegetarian burrito and my hubby ordered a chicken quesadilla. I noticed they had queso dip, and so I got some. When we got to the table with our food, we realized we didn’t get any chips, so we went to the front to get some. «That will be $ 1.29 please.» WHAT? Why do they charge AND why didn’t they tell me this when I bought the queso? Dumb. The burrito was ok. A lot of rice and it wasn’t that great. Fresh, yep. But I can get that other places too. I doubt I’ll be back.

Normally, I would not bother reviewing Qdoba, but I feel that the other reviewers have given this Qdoba a bad rap. I have found the service to be very friendly and prompt, and our orders are always perfectly prepared. The food is good, fresh, and an outstanding value. Imagine trying to assemble a burrito for everyone in the family at home, at the same price, and making everyone happy with the results. My only criticism is that I wish they had more vegetarian alternatives.
