I used to be not so big into writing reviews for chain restaurants but I might as well start. I have been here several times before and at other locations and as usual, the food is consistent as far as the flavors go. The things that set chain places apart are usually the service and the general condition of that particular location. This location is fairly good as far as service goes. There has been 1 or 2 visits when it’s been slightly slow but not to the level of being annoying. The restaurant has always been clean and their women’s facilities as well. I have used it only twice out of all my visits here but it was at a good, acceptable condition. I like the food from Red Lobsters in general but with all the other options nearby, I rarely ever think about coming here anymore. Still, pretty solid place for seafood but you might want to avoid the cocktails because the last few times I’ve tried them, they tasted too much like the virgin version of the cocktail. It was a bit disappointing but I guess this isn’t the place for cocktails. Overall, I have no major complaints. Good food and fairly good service!

The tables were filthy; our friendly hostess gave ours a reasonably diligent swipe with a handful of napkins. After about ten minutes with no service we left. Chain seafood isn’t special enough to put up with crap service and risk food poisoning from gross.

Everyone has different experiences. The food was consistently good. We were sat in the bar booth area.(Bar areas usually have better servers btw bc they are busier). Tina was our server. She was very observant, patient and kind. She charged us accordingly. Food was hot, and every course came out as requested. This place does have a heavy turn over for servers so tip your servers well if they did good(20%) and if they did poorly(10%) NEVER don’t tip. They worked to serve you so tip them as if they don’t have a wage. This place does have a bad wrap. If you haven’t attended recently it is on the up and up. The environment is turning for the better.

Went there twice. Love their bread! I’m not a fan of lobsters, though.

I visited this location for lunch on Friday afternoon. It wasn’t very crowded, the wait staff wasn’t as energetic as you would expect. I ordered the lobster artichoke dip as an appetizer. The dip was delicious! but I will be honest with you. They did not use lobster meat in the dip, it was crab claw meat.(Seafood has a very distinctive taste, you can instantly tell the difference). I’m not certain why that happened. So, you might pay lobster prices for a claw product. For my meal, I ordered the Seaside Shrimp Trio, my drink was a strawberry lemonade, and they were good as well. Next time I will try the 7oz steak with the salmon… I was in a rush this time. Hopefully the staff will be a little more chipper! =)

So much potential! Cheddar biscuits were great. Maine lobster was tasty but $ 50 for 2lb seemed a little pricey. Salad was over dressed. Draft beer selection was good but could expand number of tap handles. Lemonade was great and so was the chocolate lava sundae. Service needs help. Need to be trained and pushed to have sense of urgency. Tables were not being bussed despite line out the door. We had a 5:30 reservation but we’re not seated until 5:50. Server did not clear plates so we ate dessert with our plates from appetizers and dinner still on table. Both server and manager, however, were nice and generous. Lobster pot needs a makeover.

Pro decent food. Con server took our order never to be seen again. Had to ask another server for refills. Too bad. I sort of liked this location until this happened.

A simple«I’ll be right with you guys» goes a long way, but the servers here do not do this so you will probably sit at your table unacknowledged for 5 – 10 minutes. Once they do make it over they have as few interactions with you as possible, so be ready to order the first time they come by and don’t finish your drink too soon. Otherwise be prepared to go find them yourself because when they say«if you need anything let me know,» they really mean search the restaurant over because they aren’t nearby and aren’t coming back. The next time you see them will likely be when they drop the bill on your table less than halfway through your meal. Usually the great food makes up for the bad service, but last time I ordered a $ 20 entrée with four different types of seafood and everything on my plate was rubbery. I could’ve gone to Long John Silver’s and had better. I’ve tried to give this location the benefit of the doubt many times but I think I am finally done.

The lobster was overlooked. Shrimp scampi a little rubbery. Dirty silverware, was greasy and spotty. But everything else was great. The mashed potatoes, crab legs, patron margarita, fried shrimp. The manager was very helpful as was our server. Not what I expected, but I will come back because of how they treated us.

Good food — disgusting bathrooms. I got the crab legs and they were delicious. My husband for the flounder which was good. The mashed potatoes and biscuits are amazing. The service was okay for a very busy Friday. However the bathrooms were downright gross. Someone vomited in the stall and there was standing water near the floor drain. I immediately told a waitress who seemed concerned and said she would tell the manager right away. I didn’t stick around to see if she did. The food is pretty good — pretty pricey for a chain though.

Worst service ever! I’ve been waiting at the table for at least 10 mins but No one come to us! And when we leaving, one of the server says oh they are leaving. I’ll never come back again, worst restaurant experience ever.

Overpriced, over buttered, cheesy corporate service. If it wasn’t for those addictive biscuits, I’d never even desire this place. $ 20 for 8oz of cod? Even the pasta dishes are expensive. When did this place become such a poor value? The crazy thing is it’s not hard to cook seafood. Crablegs, shrimp, and all of their other specialties can all be done at home better, and at a fraction of the cost.

Rating the restaurant itself I give it 3 stars. The service time is generally slow to average the several times I’ve been here. Occasionally the waitstaff is friendly however most of the time your server is just going through the motions and not working towards a bigger tip. The restaurant is clean in general but not setting any bars. In regards to the food. Red Lobster is a chain and does not even come close to seafood markets down in Florida. Their shrimp tacos are worth a try but the best thing I’ve had there is a non seafood item. If you are forced to eat here but don’t mind a little sweet smoky spice get the wood grilled southwest chicken sandwich. I haven’t had many top it and will go back again just for this sandwich.

Standard Red Lobster fare. The waitress was nice and checked up on us often. The waitress also kept our drinks full and had a smile on her face. I actually left my phone inside when I left and one of the waitstaff caught it so quickly that she was able to return it to me in the parking lot. Really, the staff goes above and beyond what is necessary. It is however, no excuse that we had to wait ten minutes for the first round of biscuits. The waitress asked if we wanted another, which we did. The waitress went to get some and came back saying it would be another couple of minutes. The kitchen should constantly be putting these in the oven and pulling them, especially at lunch time on a Sunday. We didn’t wait around for the second round. The waitress was extremely apologetic on both occasions, but really the kitchen staff really needs to get on it.

The four course meal is delicious and tasty for the price and it’s reasonable. The service is good and the place is clean and looks brand new. The staff is friendly and the décor is warm and inviting. Very nice Red Lobster in its chain. They should be proud.

When I was a kid, Red Lobster was the place to eat a good dinner, but times have changed :(. In an effort to maximize profits, most chain restaurants have gone out of their way to change their products to a very artificial, «everything tastes the same,» kind of glib glob. Unfortunately, Red Lobster is on the bandwagon. We ordered the Alaskan King Crab leg special and it was a good deal in terms of the amount you get(1−½ lbs), but it was dry and overcooked — so glad we had melted butter! Look, I don’t expect to get fresh Alaskan King Crab legs in STL, but these tasted like they had come from an extended stay in the freezer. The sides tasted like freezer food, as well. The hostess who was very nice stopped by to check on us, but was not knowledgeable about the products they serve. She asked about Alaskan King Crab legs and said most customers get the snow crab because it’s sweeter – WHAT? They get it because it’s, um, cheaper. Alaskan King are the sweetest … The overall experience was just okay. The restaurant lighting is too dark, but the restaurant itself is newer with modern features and décor. I wouldn’t say I’ll never go again, but it’s not an eatery that I would suggest.

The hostess greeted us before even walking inside it was during the mid-shift so the expectations weren’t high but wait till we’re inside. The worst part was we had to wait! 3 tables sat in the entire restaurant and we had to wait for a table to be cleaned. 30 yrs in this industry and instead of restaurants focusing on the customer they are still too worried about the labor. Do you want the customers in your door or at the place next door? As far as the server he was great! The food was mediocre and the overall experience was less then good. I don’t understand what the food industry is doing, focus needs to be reevaluated and they need to focus on the whole experience.

I usually enjoy Red Lobster for what it is given the prices and convenience. However, I have to drop the rating on this one from 4 to 3 stars(wish I could go 2.5 stars). It was a busy night with a 30-min wait, and we ate at the bar where ½ of those seated there were just drinking and ½ were eating. There were 3 behind the bar, and I assume they all had different things they were responsible for, but all 3 waited on us at different times. So here’s why I’m dropping the rating: 1) Didn’t get straws, had to get those ourselves 2) Had to ask for salt and pepper — there was none out 3) Were told drink refills were coming right up but never happened, had to ask someone else for that(that was the only refill we got the entire meal) 4) Were told boxes were coming right up and had asked for a container for my sauce; later, server realized we didn’t get boxes and I still didn’t get the sauce container(maybe one of the others was supposed to take care of that and didn’t?) 5) After getting our box, no one had come back over to cash us out. We waited around 10 mins until we finally walked over to the back of the bar where they were to ask someone to please cash us out.
