We had our first meal tonight at Casa Mia and it was delicious. Everything was delicious. The owners were very nice and really cared about our opinion and were delighted when we told them we really enjoyed the food. The staff was friendly and our server was delightful. My husband loves spaghetti carbonara and Casa Mia’s did not disappoint. I had the lemon chicken with a side order of roasted veggies. The Sicilian citrus salad was also good. We will definitely be going back!!!

Well, my wife and I had tickets to the Little Theater around the corner and decided to stop in here for a bite. What a fantastic decision. I prefer southern Italian food as opposed to Northern Italian. This place didn’t disappoint. Family owned and operated, we enjoyed true fare from the Calabria region. I had the Carbonara and my wife enjoyed the Salmon. Incredible food. Bread Pudding? Awesome. Nice bottle of Lamuri Nero D’Avola. Our server Jessica was friendly and very attentive. Total dining time was 1.5 hours. It’s not a huge place so arrive early or make a reservation. First timers usually get treated with some Limoncellos. It was our first time in Marblehead. We absolutely loved it and will return soon.

My fiancé and I dined at Casa Mia on Saturday night and it was fantastic. We were greeted with such a warm welcome as soon as we walked in. Our waitress was very pleasant. The house red wine was delicious, and quite a generous pour for only $ 7! I had the special which was sausage and shrimp over homemade fussilli in a mushroom cream sauce and it was amazing. The cream sauce was not too heavy, it was perfect. My fiancé had veal roll-ups with spinach and prosciutto which he loved. The rest of the staff was incredible friendly as well. Oh– and the cucumber infused water as delicious, what a nice touch! We would highly recommend giving this place a try, we actually bought three gift certificates before we left to give to our friends as Christmas presents! Can’t wait to go back!

This place is a waste of money. Good is average on a good night and not worth the pricing. Have them a few chances before I posted because I really was hoping they would pick up where Yanflo’s left off, but they just aren’t close. Service is sparse and it is like they are worried too much about money — in the summer the a/c isn’t on with windows open when it’s 95 degrees outside and now in the fall when it has been chilly, they don’t put on the heat. Do yourself a favor and go to(I can’t believe I am saying this but they are the lesser of two evils) Café Italia!

Disclaimer: I know the owners. However, what I’m about to say is entirely true. I would much rather eat at Casa Mia then go into town to a place like Strega or Del Frisco’s and spend ridiculous amounts of money for average food. The food at Casa Mia is VERY tasty. It’s one of those places where you’re still talking about the food months after you visited and you can’t wait to go back. No bland stuff here — everything I’ve had has been delish(salmon pistachio, haddock with Cipollini onions, carpacchio appetizer, seafood salad appetizer). My husband had veal chop special and it was to die for. My daughter had homemade fusilli and that was amazing as well. It’s traditional Italian recipes with a modern flair. Even the vegetable sides are super tasty — like the rabe. Good drinks too — my favorite is Italian Summer.

We decided to try out the new Italian in Marblehead. We didn’t have reservations so we decided to sit at the bar. The bar tender was very good, he allowed me to try a couple of the reds to go with my stuffed pork chop. I went with cab which was delicious. It paired well with the chop. The pork chop was juicy and tender one of the best I have had in a long time. If you’re in Marblehead you have too try this gem of place. Oh and the bread pudding with Bailey’s, to die for…

Great Authentic Italian food. My favorite appetizer of all time is the Octopus Carpaccio! Unreal! I highly suggest this hidden gem!

Not going back. Service and attitude has changed since our first early visit. Food is inconsistent. Sent the mussels back as they were over cooked and shriveled up. We were told that they were the only ones the«store» had. No one came to apologize and they would not take it off the bill. They don’t get it

One of the finest, most authentic, and welcoming Italian restaurants I’ve ever been to. Great prices, great ambiance. The food was exceptional-elevated classics made with the passion for cuisine and Old World knowledge. I’ll be back again. Always my first dining choice when in Marblehead.

I don’t know what happened in the previous review, but we went here and everything was wonderful. My husband got the chicken, and it was flavorful and delicious. And expectations were low because chicken. The«mini» calzones were a meal in themselves. Everything was fresh. Crème brule yummy! Try their infusions! The raspberry vodka was delish. Highly recommend. Make reservations. This place will make it in town. It is that good.

Thank you for an experience that included a delicious dinner, attentive staff and owners, and an incredibly comfortable, quaint atmosphere. I noticed many of the details upon entering — the entryway full of flowers, makes one feel like their entering a friend’s home. The light fixtures resembled the artwork of lanterns, a perfect fit with Marblehead’s history. The family portraits gives you a personal, inside perspective into this hard-working, successful family. I loved the cucumber-mint water, such a refreshing twist, and perfectly subtle. I didn’t have the bread, as I wasn’t sure if it was homemade, but maybe I will next time. I ordered the Pesce Dolce which was a tasty haddock plated with a purée of sweet potatoes and to-die-for onions sitting on top. The haddock was a bit salty for me, but that didn’t stop me from eating every morsel. There were tempting specials like a stuffed pork chop that hopefully I’ll be able to try on another night. We were delightedly full, and sadly, opted not to indulge in homemade desserts, so we will most definitely have to return! The small lot in back made parking very easy. Thank you for such a great experience!

Atmosphere is wonderful, and the staff could not be more friendly and accommodating. Truly a delight to be greeted so warmly and to be remembered on subsequent visits. Meals start with a bottle of infused water(cucumber-mint the night we were there), which is very tasty although it could benefit from ice cubes in the glasses. Room temp water on a not night is not refreshing. Would also be nice if the bread were served warm. Menu is interesting, but a bit pricey for the quality. We ordered the fried stuffed zucchini flowers, but they came extremely greasy and we would not order them again. The chicken rolls stuffed with mozarella and pesto sounded delicious, but was small and tasted fairly ordinary. I ordered the roasted potatoes as an accompaniment, and they were definitely nothing special; tasted like something from a bag in the frozen food section. Again, the staff is wonderful and the ambiance is pleasant, but the prices are high for the very average quality. My friends and I have been twice, but probably will not return.
