Terrible manicure. Polish all over my skin. My nails had chipped and were different lengths but she just started filing and I had to ask her to even them up. Nail polish is streaky Friendly receptionist. One of the other manicurist was friendly. Mine, Lauren was unfriendly bordering on rude. A stressful experience. Will look for another place

Went for a message and facial. The message was good, but the masseuse didn’t ask about areas I’d like her to focus on. She seemed to be following her standard process rather than individualizing to the clients needs. I got a hydro facial which was not relaxing at all. My skin did feel smoother afterwards, but the person giving my facial had really rough skin which I’ve never encountered before and was a little offputting. Not sure if she struggles with dry skin? Lastly, The spa is nice enough but no music? Think they could make more of an effort to make it more of an experience rather than just a standard salon. I had a gift card, but doubt I’d go back unless I got another. Definitely will try somewhere else next time.

I cannot rave enough about my fabulous(first!) experience at Dayle’s. I was looking for a holistic experience: no fluorescent lighting, no jets in the foot soak, no chemical smell and no chatting or forced discourse: like a nap while your feet are being pampered. After setting up the appointment with Dayle and telling her what I was looking for, she booked it. I met Kate who walked me up this beautiful carved wood spiral staircase and tucked me into a amazingly comfortable, almost reclined wide sheeted chair, with blankets that I crawled under with my feet and lower legs exposed and voila! A basin appears and I immerse my feet into very comfortable water. The lighting is dim, the piped-in music is lush and I am drifting off. The much needed pedicure was done with loving, caring touches as was the just as long leg and foot massage that followed. The new gold standard is Dayles and Kate. Thank you ladies!

Dayles spa is as good as it gets! I have had nothing but relaxing, effective treatments at Dayles! I work closer to Newburry street in Boston but I choose going to Dayles over anywhere else because I always receive exceptional service. I am a huge fan of the hydra facial which has changed my skin and the waxing and massage services too! I’m shocked to see a negative review on here because Dayles has been a go to for my family for over twenty years. Nothing but five stars, this spa and it’s employees are top of the line!

The spa itself is very nice. The atmosphere is very impressive, both luxurious and relaxing. I went on a Thursday evening and the place was rather quiet. I bought my mother a $ 100 gift card to Dayle’s a year ago. Since I am getting married, I thought it would be nice to go get a facial with my mother before the wedding. My mother is taken first as she is scheduled to have a more expensive Signature Facial. Ten minutes later Diana, another esthetician, comes asking for my mother. I explain that someone else has already taken her in. Diana seems agitated that she isn’t doing the more expensive treatment so she reluctantly takes me in. I ask her what she recommends for someone with dry skin and she tells me the HydraFacial so I accept. Once its all over and I’m at the reception desk I am told that unlike most of their facials, which fall in the $ 90 range, the HydraFacial is actually $ 150. Diana clearly took out her frustrations on her client instead of discussing the issue with her colleague. Pretty vindictive if you ask me. Next, my mother tries to pay using her gift card but after trying to swipe it the receptionist tells us that there is only $ 20 on the gift card, which is labeled for $ 100. My experience was not pleasant. There was a lot of mix up and confusion as well as some deceptive business practices. I would not recommend this place to anyone.

The first time, I had a hydra facial with Dayle herself. The facial was great. The second time, I had a leg and bikini wax. The woman who did it made a rude comment. She left wax all over me, had wax breaking on my skin and ripping my skin. There were piles of used wax on the table that she did not move, which made it difficult for me to lay there. The third time I went for a Shellac manicure & I got a color polish. This was good, until 4 hours later when two nails began peeling and chipping. At this point, my nails are bare again, as they all just peeled off. Dayle called me about the issues. She explained that the woman who did my nails had been there for years and that shellac just wasn’t her forte. She offered to send me a gift certificate for a manicure and told me the names of two women who specialize in shellac. The woman who did the waxing felt really terrible about the comments she made and apologized, which means a lot to me.

I came back to Dayle’s for their new Photo Facial and Skin Tightening laser treatment and was thrilled. Dayle erased those ugly sun/liver spots that have bothered me for years and lightened up several deep facial lines for which others use fillers. This combined treatment is excellent and this salon has highly trained professionals who not only did a superb job on the treatment but guided me on what to do before/after and how to keep it going. Dayle and her salon never ceases to amaze me!

My friends and I recently went to Dayles for a few services each. Although the services were great minus the pedicure, the spa lacked ambience. We were rushed when we first got there and it was like no one knew where each of us were supposed to be. My appointment(salt scrub/vichy) someone knocked on the door multiple times making both the person doing the service and myself aggravated. Having frequented many spas, usually the client changes into relaxing robes and slippers. we had to change in the treatment rooms and then put our clothes back on for the next service not relaxing at all. We all felt a little uncomfortable. Nina was great and Diana gave the best facial.

I had both a phenomenal facial and eyebrow waxing here and couldn’t have been more pleased. I am VERYVERYVERY picky when it comes to brows, and the esthetician walked me through exactly what her thoughts were before she started(she did a combo of tweezing small hairs and waxing), and then generously waxed my chin for free and plucked some facial strays. The wax was extremely high quality(almost candle type wax), and she used the wax alone without cloth strips. Everything was calm and relaxing and extremely sanitary. I was not rushed in any way and one thing I liked was that if you had a specific person and liked them, they kept the name in the system so you could just re-up each time. I cannot for the life of me remember who did my facial(I believe it was Diana), but the care and time she took was amazing. I have very bad blackheads and she took longer than my appointment time to cleanse and extract everything. She also tweezed a few stray hairs and recommended products without pushing an upsell. This place is a small gem in a small coastal town that I travel an hour away to reach simply for the quality. Only reason I sometimes don’t go is because it IS expensive, but the quality is Newbury Street level.

I have been a client of Dayle’s for over ten years, and each and every time I’ve received a first class treatment. My last visit I received a hydrafacial with Dayle, and I have to say it was one of the best facials I’ve ever experienced. It’s wonderful to see an owner involved with the clientele. I would highly recommend this spa, due to its level of service, and attentiveness to its clients.

Dayles is by far the best salon I have ever been to. Everyone is so friendly, the rooms are always immaculate, and I feel like I have baby’s skin after I get a facial from Michelle A. She’s the BEST esthetician I’ve ever been to!!! In one word — they’re amazing! Only salon I will go to for my skin from now on.

I had a spa day planned for my wedding party which included 8 bridesmaids, 2 mothers, and 1 grandmother. I arranged a manicure, pedicure, and massage for the ladies. I was there throughout the day and noticed that staff cleaned their pedicure/manicure utensils after each lady and also cleaned out the basins of the pedicure stations. The spa was clean, well lit, and calming. I got a Hydrafacial and VelaShape the Wednesday before my wedding. The Hydrafacial cleared my skin up before the big day. I would recommend any VelaShape treatments at least a week+ before any event since it did leave some bruising since I have sensitive skin. Dayle and her staff were very attentive and aware of our needs. They brought additional staff in and coordinated a schedule for us. I would recommend Dayle’s to others. I would like to say that the prices are somewhat on the higher side but the quality of their work and the products they use reflect their prices.

I went to Dayle’s on Valentine’s Day. I had a peppermint seaweed wrap. Although, it wasn’t quite what I expected, I was pleasantly surprised. The atmosphere was very clean and inviting, and the woman that did my wrap seemed quite knowledgeable about her craft. My friend came with me and had a manicure and a pedicure and a facial and she was very pleased with the outcome. I would definately recommend this place!

What a wonderful surprise! Better than the best of Newbury Street. Relaxing, beautiful, pleasant. My daughters and I had massages, facials, manicures and pedicures. All spa staffers were highly trained, competent and caring. Highly recommend!
