Destroyed my Movado watch. Wanted a simple battery change, and now my $ 600 watch no longer works.

These people are very rude and not helpful at all! I would not recommend trying to find an engagement ring here.

I would give this place negative stars, but that’s not an option. A few years ago I wanted to sell my engagement ring, so I thought I would stop by here. The place is a dump and the people were rude and demeaning. They wanted to give me almost no money for a 122 point diamond. They also made me feel like I was selling a stolen item. No thanks. I wound up selling to a nice place in Atlanta for many thousand more.
I would never again go to this store, and I agree the billboard signs are scary.

Total scam artists.
They bait and switch my wedding band and lied about it, and tried to tell me that my fiancé and I were wrong.
We went in 4 months before our wedding and looked at 2 wedding bands.
The first one was OK, but it wasn’t ‘it’, so I asked them to put it back, she set it on the counter. I thought this was strange, I’ve never known a jeweler to leave unwanted merchandise out, particularly in a way that it could be easily swiped. It was small and frail looking.
The second ring I looked at was perfect. I said yes, this is the one I want. I watched carefully to make sure that they wrote down the correct item number and specs
We put a ²⁄₃ down payment on the band.
My fiancé went in 10 days before our wedding to make the final payment, and get the ring fitted, and he had thought it was the wrong ring they handed him, but wasn’t 100% sure. He mentioned to me later that night that it was the small, frail ring with smaller stones that they handed him. I freaked out.
We went in the next day and they had conveniently removed the tag with the item number on it, the description I had from the original receipt did not at all describe the cheap crap they were trying to push on us, and the one that we had chosen had been sold.
Only after I nearly had a complete bridal breakdown in front of their other customers did they offer to refund the money in full (which after 24 hours we’re still waiting on).
Seriously spend the extra money and go to a reputable jeweler.

I went there to sell some items. I bet Lauren R. & I dealt with the same man! He was not friendly or remotely pleasant to interact with. However, the young man who greeted me was friendly & polite. Mrs. Kaminski also came out of her office to chat and she was quite nice. Because of those 2 I might return when I want to purchase something, but if I were to have to deal with the buyer again I would turn around & walk out.

This place is lovely, unless you’re interested in SELLING something to them. I was approached by a very rude man, who I can only assume was the owner. He was snappy and loud, and when he saw that I had printed the current value of my jewelry online (as per Shane Co who is currently selling the item new).he became angry and combative. I suppose he was hoping to buy my $ 2000 piece of jewelry for $ 100. I had gone to this establishment because I thought that it would be a better experience than a pawn shop. Sadly I was mistaken, and I will never return to this place. For the record, they are inflating the cost of jewelry by 90% above wholesale, and you are much better off buying from a private seller or an estate sale. This place is as awful as their terrifying billboards! He would have purchased my jewelry for $ 100, and then turned around to sell it to you for $ 2,500. Classy…

I know we are not supposed to write reviews of places we have not been, but I really had to since I grew up listening to the commercial. «If you wantski good priceski come in and see Kaminski!» I would be a much different person today if not for the commercial.
