This has been my first experience with Sprouts. I’ve had the very best beef in a long time. I bought both stew beef and then a roast. The meat was so tender. I love the fact that they carry different types of fruits and vegetables. I have a horned melon to try next. Our family is a huge fan of herbal teas and they have a great selection. The staff has been nothing short of helpful and polite at the registers. I do understand that there can be kinks in any store when opening. I hope East Cobb residents will be patient. Being retired I cannot always afford to shop at some of the other stores in East Cobb so I like to shop the Sprouts sales.

Disappointing. I doubt I will return. Not only is the selection of foods and produce limited, but I found the prices to be higher at Sprouts than both Publix and Whole Foods. Examples: I bought the exact same organic milk for a dollar less at Publix the day before; a jar of Bubbie’s pickles at Sprouts was $.50 more expensive than Whole Foods. Also, both apples and navel oranges were more expensive at Sprouts than Whole Foods. Mushrooms were less at Sprouts and the muffins also cost less at Sprouts. However, unless you’re going to comparison-shop on every grocery item between Publix, Whole Foods and Sprouts, it’s not worth it; plus, I hear that some of Sprout’s lower priced items were only grand opening specials. In terms of organic produce, they were extremely limited, probably less organic produce than your neighborhood grocery. Seems from other reviewers that we’ve all had the same experience at Sprouts…

First time to a Sprouts, not sure if I’ll ever go back. The main reason why I did not like my experience at Sprouts was the attitude of the employees. I’m a pretty patient guy, but after standing at the deli counter waiting to order a sandwich without being acknowledged, it is a little eye opening. There were a million employees working back there as well, and it was almost like they were waiting for someone else to take the lead and go man the sandwich counter. Another 15 minutes later(after watching the employee fumble through making one of their own signature sandwiches and which required me having to coach their way through the process including reciting the ingredients), I finally had my sandwiches and was ready to move on to other parts of the store(25 minutes in the store = 2 sandwiches…). As I moved onto my next section of the store, I was checking out the produce and almost got run over by some dude trucking along with the meat cart. No apologies, no excuse me’s, it was almost as if I was in his way. The sandwich experience and meat cart experiences left a dull taste in my mouth. The only reason why I do not give Sprouts one star is that their prices are pretty decent and at least the cash register employee was friendly. Customer service folks, it goes a long way!

Love the look, nice employees, great produce and prices(awesome asparagus, organic beets with delish greens on top, etc), nice deli and meats too. Great addition to the neighborhood

A bit underwhelmed… I will admit I rarely venture into any grocery stores other than Publix, but I did want to give Sprouts a chance. I value customer service over ANYTHING else, and no one comes close to Publix in that regard. I’m really not a Sprouts/Whole Foods/Trader Joe’s/Fresh Market kind of shopper anyway, so I’m not in a position to speak about Sprouts’ products and prices as compared to others, but I can speak to their quality of service. I was definitely approached by one or two employees asking if I needed assistance, but for the most part I had to flag someone down. However I didn’t find that problematic. What I did find is that the checkout process is by far the area in which they need the most improvement. I don’t think all the cashiers are well-trained, both in the actual mechanics of their jobs as well as treating the customer as their number one priority. There’s lots of visiting among employees rather than interacting with the customer. That always annoys me even though I see it all the time. No other retail grocery store comes close to Publix when it comes to customer service, but Trader Joe’s provides a pleasant shopping experience as well. Sprouts? Whole Foods? Fresh Market? Meh. I avoid Kroger like the plague. Perhaps when they get through the growing pains stage, Sprouts will be a nice alternative. But unless they make more room in that store, I can’t see myself shopping there on a regular basis. It seems very crowded and cramped to me.

Second trip to this location. Cherry picked some specials. Thumped some melons. Eyeballed some steaks in the meat department but ended up passing on them.

Newly opened store that exceeded expectations! I’m not a big fan of the Sprouts near Smyrna, so when I heard about this new location opening in Marietta, closer to where I live, I had to check it out. Pros: Lots of absurdly great sales.(Maybe for opening?) Very fresh dried fruit and quality produce. Clean and bright inside. Friendly staff. Cons: Kind of cramped, inside, even when not busy. Employees not 100% knowledgable; still learning. I gave it 4-stars since it’s so much better than the other OTP Atlanta Sprouts and the quality of the products were great. The current sales are ridiculous. Dried cranberries at $ 2/pound? Large bottles of coconut water at half off. Avocados only 48 cents, etc. I’ll keep coming back, hoping that the extra low prices continue!

Here’s the deal: If you find yourself going repeatedly to some combo of Trader Joe’s/Target/Whole Foods ALL90 seconds away from this spot, you MIGHT be able to reduce to just one trip here. Sometimes. Having said that, this chain strikes me as exactly half-way between Fresh Market and Publix. Not a real big store, some exotic fare, lots of national brands. Specifically, Chobani. Good test case. Whole Foods booted it, Trader Joe’s doesn’t carry it, Target does(but then you are in for that store’s very, very narrow grocery selections otherwise), and Fresh Market’s default price is an insane $ 1.49 per. Which is also’s Sprout’s default start price — except for a 79 cent«special» number the first week. Where does it land? Here’s the additional deal: produce is OK both in quality and in price, fresh meat the same, perhaps a notch below Fresh Market and two notches below Whole Foods, if not more for steak. Just not very compelling. Ribeye and strip at $ 12 and $ 10 a lb was only good, not great. Beer and wine? Meh at best. Really want this spot to work as it would save me trips, but considering the only OK standards for fresh fare and the challenged parking(too, too shallow lot) it might not.

Don’t judge Sprouts by this location, maybe in a few months or after a new store manager is on board. I’m a huge fan of Sprouts and am a regular at other Sprouts in the area. I have been looking forward to the opening of this store ever since it was first announced as it is close to my home. I am sad to say I was disappointed to the point where I will continue to shop at other Sprouts for a couple more months before I revisit. The location is great, the store is clean, the display’s were nicely stacked. No complaints on the food, All of these factors were up to Sprouts quality. The problem was getting around the store and the employee attitudes. Carts of products to be put out blocked the typically small Sprout aisles. On no less than three occasions did I have to ask groups of 3 – 5 employees if the aisle was open or if they would let me go by. The employees were many, congregating together all over the store or blocking the entrance and exit. Multiple times I was cut off by employees as they moved around the store rude and oblivious to customers without a word. This is not the behavior I witness in other local stores and certainly not in a Sprouts. This store has been open for three days and I do understand things are new. Given the proven track record of other Sprouts and the experienced staff they have in the area that could be helping with a new store opening, to say I am disappointed is an understatement. The lack of courtesy and professionalism will keep me away from this store and likely not make a good first impression on East Cobb shoppers with so many other options very nearby.

A nice addition to the East Cobb market offerings. The staff was very friendly and helpful. There was definitely a buzz of excitement in the store with many eager shoppers perusing the produce. I purchased arugula, carrots, baby white potatoes, apples and snap peas. All of the items looked great and were well priced.

Sprouts had its grand opening today. It is located next to TJ Max in East Cobb. I didn’t have a problem finding a parking space although it was crowded. Lots of people were inside. The inside of the store is similar to Whole Foods, without the high prices or snotty attitudes of the employees. They have a wonderful produce section. There is also a section where bulk items are offered. They have some good deals going on. All vitamins are 25 per cent off. I purchased a 5 lb box of mandarins for $ 3 and a whole pineapple for $ 1. I bought a ciabatta bread with a decent crust. Check out was quick and efficient. I will definitely be going back.
