I love NCWH. I transferred to this Obgyn during my first pregnancy. Staff was always friendly and pleasant. I love how there are only 4 delivering doctors. You get plenty of chances to meet each one before you have to deliver. Honestly a liked all of the physicians. Dr. Steinichin is awkward, but really likeable. Dr. Dyer is the spunkier of all of them and he took the time every pre natal visit to check more than just my good girl. Dr. Little was probably my least favorite to see only because I didn’t really connect with her like I did the others. Dr. Webb is my favorite. He is so down to earth, and just an all-​around great guy plus he just happened to be on call when I delivered my son. Fran, his Medical assistant is also really sweet.
Sometimes it’s difficult to discuss GYN issues but I love how at ease NCWH makes you feel. No awkward-​ness and they always inform you what’s going on and what’s going to happen next, being that when your feet are in the surrups it’s difficult to concentrate and all you want is to be out of there and have your vagina back to yourself. ;)
There was only one incident where I got a little frustrated. The older lady up front (who is as sweet as pie) forgot to put up my chart and i was in the waiting room for an hour to have an appointment that took five minutes. I’m really not one to complain about wait times, especially in OBGYN because I know it’s very unpredictable. But you have to pay for parking at the hospital, so i got charged for more time leaving the parking deck than i should have. Now, i just take my mom or my husband to drop me off at the door, circle around a couple times, and then come pick me up :)
The office is just absolutely gorgeous. It’s calming and comfortable. There are black and white professional portraits that I would love to have for myself. Everything about this practice is wonderful (except for the lab tech… which I guess really isn’t part of the practice. It’s a separate LabCorp company. She was rude and rushed and jabbed me with the needle. It hurt for days and the bruise was a pretty puke green for two weeks.) But aside from LabCorp. I defiantly recommend NCWH to friends and family
