Baja Fresh Mexican Grill

They have good food when you’re in the mood and the service here is smiley. On this day, I took a quick lunch from a nearby office and walked over. I needed a washroom and lunch. I ordered only to learn that they do not have a washroom! Isn’t that a law? Anyway, I therefore had to take my lunch to go and eat in front of my computer. BOOOOO.
Had a decent burrito bowl though sans the rice.

Try the tacos in here u will luv it.
Staffs are really friendly and attentive. Salsa bar is well maintained compare to other stores.

Such a pleasant experience. Stopped by here last minute. The woman that took my order was so sweet. She was the only one taking the orders but took the time to be friendly with all the customers. Love their selection of salsas!

Well I hate to say it, but its $ 10 I could have not spent…

5 stars all the way. I’ve used Baja for catering our firm lunches and it’s always a hit with my staff. The new owners and management in particular have provided outstanding consumer service. I highly recommend them.

This place is absolutely amazing, The Grilled Shrimp Salad is the best I ever had !!! The owner and server is the definition of humble and kind, what a truly nice person and great customer service. He is very nice man with a warm and inviting personality, Definitely recommend them.

Came in ordered a shrimp taco. 7 minutes later taco was cold in asked why it was cold lady physically touched the taco and handed it to the kitchen 6 minutes later same taco came back. I opened up the taco and it was still cold to the touch. When I asked the lady why it was still cold isn’t this supposed to be a fresh hot off the grill grilled shrimp taco she admitted it was the same taco she had been sneezing and coughing and I asked her why would you hand me the same taco after you touched it she said it would be another 10 minutes before they can serve me a fresh hot taco. Disgusting I will never go back there again.

I came here for lunch and instantly knew by the crowd that this place would be delicious and well-​worth the wait. Without a doubt, this restaurant is healthy, efficient and service is outstanding. I genuinely appreciate the manager for assisting me when ordering and confirming if I had any allergies. He really cared about my needs. The staff was also so kind to wish me a great day when giving me my food. Thank you for a great experience on what tends to be a rushed, chaotic lunch break for me.

What kind of restaurant doesn’t even have a restroom for their customers? No place to wash your hands before you handle your food. What a joke. This place is garbage for that alone. Walked out without anything to eat. They told me to go use the restroom at DSW across the parking lot. How about you let people use your restroom, since by law you have to have one. Horrible company. Horrible customer service. Pathetic. Don’t eat here. Ever.

I have no idea why they get poor reviews. I have severe allergies and they ALWAYS look after me here! The steak is cooked perfect and not over cooked like at Chipotle which I HATE Chipotle and look what trouble they are in. The chips here are also always fresh. The staff are nice. This is my favorite of all of the Baja Fresh locations that I have dined at and I have been dining here for over 15 years! I agree the quality is even better since the new owners took over in 2015!

Reviewed them right after new owners took over in September. Currently I found the staff is better, food is just OK, salsa bar had old stale salsa. With the old owners the salsa bar was always fresh all day. Still irks me that prices went up 25% and the place just doesn’t have that neighborhood feeling anymore. Too bad I used to eat there twice a week, now every other month or so.
Too bad and I hope the owners spend some time there and figure it out.

There food is amazing. I ordered a taco and the vegetables are fresh! I took my friend to get food and she said it was phenomenal ! The new management did a good job for serving good quallity and fresh food! Tang ina ang sarap dawg!!!

Angel was great. I work at another retailer in the area and come in a lot. Always friendly fast service!

Baja Chicken burrito (: I like this location. Everyone seems nice and prompt with my order. I usually don’t eat the chips but I ate one today, not bad at all. Not too packed in the afternoon and many shops next to it. They now have wheat tortilla option which is a plus!

The best fast food restaurant I’ve been to in a long time. Very clean. food is served in hearty portions.
I found out that it’s operating under new management these people really know what they’re doing. Great atmosphere. Very yummy food. I had stake cassadia.
It was crunchy on the out side and soft and yummy inside.

Wow. Stumbled in here before a movie at the AMC. At Chipotle, 15 minutes in and out is a safe bet. I made the mistake of assuming the same would hold here –especially since there were not many customers.
12 minutes of waiting in vain for our food to show up and it was refund time.

I’m reviewing this location as my first visit for a quick bite here before a film at the AMC. This seemed to be the only «healthy» choice for one $ sign close and quick around the AMC 6 Villa Marina. Running out of time, my main choices were Fatburger, Panda Express, and Coffee Bean (all of which I like) and this. Being we were both being good on post NYE diet, this was best option.
This place did not show up on Unilocal when I was looking around for a place to go before a movie, but bumped into it and found it to be fine.
It was fast service, clean place, mainly empty on a Thursday evening. I had Chicken Fajitas and BF had Grilled Shrimp Salad, plus one soda for $ 19.70, 2 entrees and a drink. Cheaper then the dine in across the street (which I love but a little pricy heavy regular use)
Parking was easy and free, and to be fair I did not have any rice or chips, so I can’t comment on that part of the Chicken Fajitas. The Chicken, beans and salsa were great, the avocado/guacamole…well it tasted like it looked, my only complaint.
Overall, I don’t think it is a one star spot for a quick bite, healthy options and reasonable prices.

This Baja Fresh takes the prize of the lowest Unilocal-​rated food establishment I’ve visited. It definitely wasn’t on purpose, more a right-​place-​at-​the-​right-​time sort of thing (or maybe wrong place would be more fitting). I actually have fond memories of eating at Baja Fresh back in the 90’s when it was the New Kid On The Block in Burbank; their Baja burrito was consistently excellent, and the place was always busy, clean, and staffed by friendly people.
Fast forward to present day: my wife & I were running around in search for an apartment, and we stumbled in here on a whim. I ordered the fajitas with half chicken and half steak on the recommendation of the manager. What I got was such low quality that I have to think that either I was a completely different person while I was frequenting this chain back in the day, or they have drastically cut back on ingredients and preparation. For example, the guacamole used to be fresh and hand-​made; now it resembles something squeezed out of a TV dinner tube.
The staff was still friendly, but I threw away most of my food. Maybe the field in the Mexican fast casual group has become too crowded to compete?

First time at this particular location, but it was the usual, appropriately tasty Baja Fresh dealio. Manager Marco rang me up and was very friendly, answered my questions swiftly, and made a substitution with no problem. I’m vegan, so I ordered the side salad (make sure to specify no cheese) and the small «rice and beans plate» side, except I got double beans (mixed pinto and black) instead of rice.
The salsa bar is clean and on point. Includes jalapeños, cilantro, and pico de gallo as well.
Total cost was $ 4.88 (not including tip). Meal was very large, especially after adding all the extras at the salsa bar.
