I have worked with/​for Joseph on several occasions as a Contractor. I can say this about him… Joseph listens to his clients and gives them what’s good for THEM, not what’s good for the designer or what’s easy for the Contractor, OR what makes him the most money — he sticks to the budget. This is not a common trait nor an easy task for a designer, and if you haven’t worked with a designer it’s a trait you should first and foremost look for… I’ve worked with a lot of them. On top of that, Joseph is very comfortable to be around, he is easy to talk to and is casual, serious, and sophisticated all at once. Also — when it comes to landscaping he can tell you why your Koi and water-​lilies don’t go together. Seriously, he is exceptional with his plant knowledge, let alone the design.
