Update: My proofs were adorable and I ordered about $ 200 worth of prints. That was for one package for each of my sons and Christmas cards with a photo of both of them. I ordered the cards from them for convenience, since the photo was already there. Their website is clunky and confusing. There are many, many backgrounds to choose from in addition to the multiple poses. The backgrounds are all coded with letters and numbers. There is a section where you can preview a pose with a background, but then you have to go back to a different section to find the number of the background. It was tedious, but I finally ordered everything I wanted. Well, apparently I made a mistake transposing the code for the Christmas card I wanted. When my package arrived, the card was one I hadn’t ordered and didn’t recognize. I called up, without being able to find my paperwork. I thought maybe I’d thrown it out after all the time I spent on the site. The woman I spoke with was polite but seemed to want to put the blame on me for writing down the wrong number. Eventually, I told her I didn’t want these cards and wanted the ones I meant to order, and by the way I spent a lot of money with them. She put me on hold for some time then came back with an offer to replace the cards, but I had to mail back the ones I didn’t want before they would mail the ones I wanted. So I had to mail back cards that Jelly Jar certainly couldn’t use; in other words, I had to package up 60 Christmas cards and drive to the post office and mail them back because they didn’t trust me not to have concocted this as an elaborate scheme to get 60 free cards? Oh, and they told me to keep the envelopes from the ones I didn’t want. Thanks. I took a deep breath and told her that I had gone out of my way to leave them a good review on Unilocal after I read some bad ones, but that I intended to update it based on my experience with them. So I asked her to please wouldn’t she just mail out the cards I wanted before she received the original ones back from me? I don’t know for sure whether she did or not. I did dutifully go to the post office the next day and spend almost $ 6 more to send back the cards(and ensure I didn’t pull one over on them?). The replacement cards arrived pretty quickly. Also, I got CDs of the photos since I spent over the threshold they set. I don’t have any computers with a CD drive, unfortunately. It would be so great if I could download them from their site, instead. I am dying to share the photos online and also can’t make my scanner work. Summary: great photographer, bad website, so-so customer service, high prices, great pics!

The pictures taken at my sons daycare were cute. My one son had a scratch on his nose which could have been removed easily, but oh well what can you expect. I was going to purchase 4 sheets but when the photographer tried to charge me the price for two separate orders(even though both boys were on the same pictures together) I ended up only purchasing one. I don’t mind spending $ 65 on pictures but I don’t agree with this policy to charge for two separate orders when both boys were on the same picture. Edit: After I emailed their customer service I got a call from Michelle and she was able to process the order for the other 3 sheets at the cost for the original 1 order price. I updated my rating from 2 to 4 stars.

So far Jelly Jar has hit it out of the park 2x for both of my children. The pictures have been really cute, frameable, and definitely worth purchasing. Maybe a little on the pricey side, but it really depends on what you want to order. I find picture taking a bit stressful(trying to get 2 kids, 2 ½ and 1 ½, to look at the camera at the same time is nearly impossible). Some how the Jelly Jar photographer made it happen at daycare! The website to order is a little clunky, but manageable. Emailed customer service once and they were attentive. It wasn’t the answer I was looking for, which was fine, but they were prompt to answer. Hope they keep coming back to LightBridge in Westfield, NJ!

This photography service came to the daycare that my daughter attends and dressed them up real cute. They lure you in with a nice sample photo. Their prices are ridiculous. $ 180 + tax and delivery for just a CD containing 3 images. They said there was a promotion offer at the daycare(The 1 day that my daughter does not go to) and would not offer it on their online website. Customer service pretty much has a take it or leave it attitude
