Goldstein Swank & Gordon

I inherited my father’s Rolex Submariner after his passing this last weekend. I wanted to get the watch appraised and placed on our insurance policy ASAP. Found Goldstein, Swank and Gordon via Rolex’s website and called them to see if I could bring it in today for an appraisal. They said sure. I then drove 1 hour from my home in Southern Mass to their location in Marlboro. Upon arrival I was told they only appraise watches they themselves sold. They did not tell me about this policy when I called therefore over 2 hours wasted. Only appraising watches that they themselves sell is pointless. As long as the watch is authentic the appraisal process is the same. Where it came from or even how it got into someone’s possession has no bearing on how it is appraised or its resultant value for insurance purposes. This is an ignorant, self-​serving, «policy».
Spend your money at a jeweler who will be up-​front with you and will stand behind their brands. Not this one.

I wanted to purchase a Mikimoto bracelet for my wife and looked on their site for authorized dealers in my area. Goldstein, Swank & Gordon was listed and decided to first call to see if they carried what I was looking for. I spoke to Megan who was extremely helpful. I visited the store and received excellent customer service from Megan. I bought the bracelet and would definitely shop there again.
