Practice closed. BOO.

I see Dr. Westphall — she’s my PCP and gyno. She’s very professional, thorough, and to-​the-​point. She’s clearly a little left-​of-​center… when she asked me if I routinely smoke marijuana, and I answered a few times a year, she said, «that doesn’t count.» Good enough!
The support staff, though, is awful. The receptionist (Arlene) is short and impatient. Recently when there was a problem with my bill, she offered me no sympathy and then referred me to their Billing specialist (Chris), who basically called me a liar when I said I hadn’t received any of the seven bills they sent (for the record, they sent them to an address I hadn’t used in three years in care of a woman — my stepmom — who had NEVER used that address).
You go to see a doctor when you’re sick and already under stress. The doctor is supposed to make you feel better, but shouldn’t the people around her also try not to make you feel WORSE?
