I have always had a positive experience using Stanley Steamer. They always come on time, they are always very polite, and they are always very honest about the work they do. I have a lot of carpet stains due to having two dogs. Most of the stains come out completely and maybe one or two larger stains fade almost entirely. I realize that some stains are just impossible to get out 100%. However, my carpets always look so much better after they treat them. It is always a noticeable difference. I plan on using them again in the future.

Stanley Steemer of Marlboro, Ma recently came to clean our kitchen tile and grout. The tile was installed about sixteen years ago when we built our home and has never been professionally cleaned. We have a light colored textured tile, with a light tan grout. Black dirt had accumulated in the texture of the tiles and throughout the grout, to the point where the grout looked to be a dark brown. I had hesitated to use a professional service before because I thought it would be way too expensive, and I questioned whether or not the tile could actually be thoroughly cleaned. But we had gotten to the point where we thought about replacing the tile, so we thought we’d try this first.
I was able to receive a quote over the phone. The quote was much less expensive than I had anticipated. I have a very large kitchen, and the quote was per room, not square feet, so that worked great for us! I was able to get an appointment right away.
The two young men who came were very friendly and courteous. They seemed to think they could remove the dirt. I was skeptical about the grout cleaning and assumed that I was going to have to have the grout painted, instead of just cleaned and sealed. They said that the Marlboro/​Worcester office does not offer this service.
They whole process took less than two hours. They sprayed the floor, scrubbed it, vacuumed up the cleaning solution and sealed the grout. My floor looks amazing! It actually looks brand new. My friends came over for New Year’s, and are booking their appointment today.
I honestly never write reviews, but I think this could be really helpful for anybody considering having their ceramic tile floors cleaned.

$ 100 later and my rugs were exactly the same, except wet. Stanley Steemer did come back to work on one stain again free of charge, but the 10 minutes they spent here originally making the rugs wet with their machine did absolutely nothing to make the rugs any cleaner. There is absolutely no difference.
We had moved in about 6 months before Stanley Steemer came and the carpet was already quite dingy. I knew not to expect a miracle, but I did expect to see SOME change. There was none to see. The carpets still stink and are just as dirty as ever. But my pocketbook changed: it’s $ 100 lighter.
I’ll chose to rent a rug machine from the grocery store next time. Save your money.
