Ian’s Yogurt is by far the best yogurt place I have ever been too! Not like all the other yogurt places in the Bay Area, Ian’s yogurt is creamiest, most deliciousness, and what I call«frozen yogurt!» It is a family business that is run by great people! The atmosphere is very welcoming and clean. I love the selection of toppings and most of all the fresh fruit selection! I highly recommend Ian’s Yogurt to anyone!

I came here today since it was 90 degrees outside. I tried the mountain Berry, cupcake, crème brûlée, Belgium chocolate, Vanilla, pistachio and loved every flavor! I added sprinkles and mini Reece’s pieces and hands down the best yogurt in the area. Blush, Coco Swirl, Yogurtland and Yogurt Shack cannot compare. Hands down the best in the area!

I’m always on the lookout for a new dessert spot to try out. If it has cookies and cakes, I got to try it out. If it got floats and ice cream, I got to try it out. If it got boba(yes, I think that can be a part of a dessert) and frozen yogurt, I got to try it out. The people I work for told me about this mom and pop«froyo» spot during work today. They said that it’s different from the other more known chains of frozen yogurt places. I got rave reviews from them about how the flavors are great and change weekly, the toppings, and the service. Hmm, intriguing. I never go around the Martinez neck of the woods often. It wasn’t hard finding this place, though, thanks to the power of GPS. The shop is tucked away into a nice little shopping and food area called Nob Hill. There’s a Kinders by it, a CVS(or was it a Raley’s,) a Chinese spot, a grill, a Subway, etc. Parking wasn’t difficult. Sure, they were a lot of automobiles around, but it didn’t take may more than three minutes to find a sport within a few seconds of walking to Ian’s Yogurt. First thing I noticed is that they had only about eight flavors today: Dutch Chocolate, Cookies n Cream, Cotton Canday, Vanilla Bean, Peanut Butter, and others that I can’t name at the top of my head.(Disappointed that there was no red velvet, but then again, I can’t expect every frozen yogurt spot to have my favorite flavor of all time.) Second thing I noticed was the amount of toppings one could put on. There were loads of them. More than just the standard toppings that other chains had. Oh, this place had the regular stuff and then some. A lot of different candies, cereals, fruits, etc. My particular amazement was the amount of different syrups. White chocolate that is sugar free? Chocolate syrup, marshmallow syrup, peanut butter syrup. GETOUTOFTOWN. There was only one person I saw up front working. He was very patient with me. I needed to try all the flavors. I would ask for a sample of the cotton candy. He’d personally get me one. I’d ask for a sample of the peanut butter. Again, he’d get me one himself. The cotton candy was really, really sweet. The peanut butter wasn’t too overpowering, but it was tasty. I decided to go with my other go to flavor(that isn’t red velvet) cookies n cream and I also put on some Dutch chocolate. Toppings time! I put in some sugar worms, Fruity Pebbles, some yogurt pretzels, cookie dough, kiwi, sugar free white chocolate syrup, and sugar free marshmallow syrup. Ohmygoodnessitalltastedsogoodtogetherakenagieoawn. What a wonderful combination! The frozen yogurt was delightfully cold and the toppings weren’t stale. The toppings were fresh and exquisite. The fruit wasn’t frozen like it is in some Tutti Fruttis I’ve been in. Price was reasonable too. Paid about $ 4.50.(0.45 cents per ounce). Definitely my preferred frozen yogurt place so far. I was super bummed out by our experience at Ian’s mainly because of the price. My two young sons and I all got the«kiddie» size and it came to $ 17! What in the world?! We didn’t even have a lot of toppings and our cups were not that full. We were recently at Yogurtland and paid $ 8 for the same amount. We also asked for a sample and the employee actually came out from behind the counter and gave us the smallest sized sample I’ve ever seen — instead of just letting me do it myself. I do appreciate mom/pop businesses, but won’t be back to this one. Way too overpriced for what you get. As of today it was .50 an ounce, but I don’t know if their scale might be broken and overcharging people!

What can I say? It’s frozen yogurt!!! I love that this place still has the old mom n’ pop feel to it: friendly employees, simple selection of flavors, and all the toppings you could dream of. Ian’s does Froyo right!

This frozen yogurt was flavorful and the toppings were diverse! Even had butterscotch syrup which I love! I’m sorry I did not get the employee’s name but the young man working there this afternoon was extremely polite and helpful. Told me that Georgia Peach was his favorite, gave me a sample and it did taste exactly like peach! I had to add that to my already filled cup. Owners take note: He’s a good sales person! The Cappucino is also delish!

Really good frozen yogurt! I love trying a bunch of different flavors. Had the mint, chocolate, strawberry, and dulce de leche. Added some chocolate chips too. I like that everything is one price per ounce and self serve.

This is your average, small business fro-yo joint. It was clean, and they had a nice collection of flavors(although not as many as a Yogurt Land). The toppings section was organized and clean, and they did have a nice selection in this area. The cashier wasn’t too friendly, but that doesn’t bother me. I don’t expect A-class service when I’m buying $ 4 fro-yo. Plenty of parking, as it is in a major grocery shopping strip. Probably the go-to dessert place for the area, as there are quite a few restaurants in the shopping strip. I will go back, mostly because it is the closest frozen yogurt place to where I live.

A small mom and pop yogurt shop located in the corner of the plaza. Google maps got a little confused and told us it was located where a freeway entrance was. There are about 6 – 7 flavors. I’m a simple yogurt person(I only love tart yogurts) so I didn’t mind the smaller selection of yogurts as long as they had a couple of tart options. I did appreciate the butt load of toppings! The fruit was very fresh, too. Very refreshing.

This yogurt is honestly the best! While there aren’t that many flavors to choose from, they are all unique and delicious! The owner and workers are all incredibly nice and very helpful. They even have a small area where local businesses can leave flyers.

This is my favorite yogurt place ever!!! I wish I had one local! It is a shame they do not keep up with Unilocal & listing hours properly, especially for people traveling to come and enjoy.(Sunday is listed as closed but according to employees they are open 7 days a week)

Still the best froyo and the pineapple is da bessst. They also are really good about posting their daily flavors ANDHOURS on their instagram @ians_yogurt since both change often and so you can know what they have before you get there and not be disappointed when there is no pineapple flavor. Thanks for staying open late weekends and during summer, it’s seriously the best.

Their flavors were all fantastic. Even my husband who doesn’t like frozen yogurt after tasting ours got his own. It was really busy so we didn’t get a chance to sample we just had to blindly choose our flavors but we are very happy with the ones that we chose there were four of us there and we all really enjoyed what we got

Where can you find flavor like Irish Mint, Cable Car Chocolate or even Chocolate Cookie Cheesecake? Ian’s Yogurt has better selection compare to Tutti Fruitti in Sun Valley Mall. I love how there is a Nutrition Fact posted on their flavor. I will come back here again.

After catching ‘The Interview’ across the way at Contra Costa Cinemas, we made a quick stop at the grocery store and saw Ian’s Yogurt and decided to give it a try. My initial reaction was I was a bit disappointed in their limited selection of 10 flavors. Given that I rarely get frozen yogurt, I’m used to see endless flavors when I do indulge in frozen yogurt. Ian’s Yogurt has three sizes: kiddie, medium, and large. As with any yogurt store, it’s sold by the ounce and Ian’s Yogurt currently runs at .45 cents an ounce. After choosing your size and flavor, you can choose all the sweet toppings you’d like from sprinkles to chocolates. Before you check out, you’re given the option of topping it off with fresh fruit. Overall, it’s your standard frozen yogurt shop with a few indoor and outdoor tables. The taste was good, not too sweet and the toppings were all fresh. A nice mom and pop business that could benefit from one or two machines to add 2 to 4 new flavors. Ambiance/Décor: 3⁄5 Food: 4⁄5 Service: N/A Price: $ Overall: 3⁄5 Pros: + 10 flavors + Reasonable prices(0.45 cents an ounce) + Fresh fruit toppings + Sweet toppings(chocolate, sprinkles, etc.) + Friendly service + Credit/Debit accepted Cons: — Limited flavors

I LOVE coming here! Owners are family oriented and friendly! Every time I come in I am greeted, and they have no problem with me sampling every flavor if I wanted to(if I haven’t been there in awhile). One of the employees there, Kyle, always give me the best service! Always has great input on his favorite flavors as well as knowing what are some good combinations of toppings with specific flavors. Personal favorite would be cake batter, watermelon sorbet, and cookies and cream. They change their flavors almost daily. They also have a punch card — 10 punches = a free yogurt!
