Only reason not 5 stars is because this place can have sporadic hours. Short waiting time for food. Food is utterly amazing. Great service. Refered multiple people to this place

I f you like Famous Daves, don’t go here, you will be disappointed! First off we get here at 5:00pm on a Friday and are told that there is no chicken until 5:30. So we take off and come back at 5:00. Yay! Chicken is ready. My freind orders a chicken sandwich but doesn’t want the bread, so the lady owner suggests ordering a half a chicken, which is $ 15.00 compared to a $ 10.00 sandwich. I really doubt she could eat a half chicken… So I suggest ordering the sandwich without the bun which she does. And she asks for no mayonnaise also. I order the pulled pork sandwich which is supposed to come with a small side. The board showed jojos for 4.98… thinking these could be used as a side I order these. She doesn’t ask me what I want for the small side. So I assume it is the jojos. Then when she tells me how much my total is I ask her how come it is so expensive and she tells me it is because of the side of jojos. I don’t think to ask her about the small side I am supposed to get… Oh. And their pop machine was not working so you were able to choose between a few assorted cans of pop that she had in a bowl on the counter. While we are waiting for our food, which took about 15 to 20 minutes a table next to us was having her fix their bill for some reason… When we get our food I asked for a little mayonnaise for my jojos. She brings me a small plastic container of mayo with a bill for 54 cents… Really? You are going to charge me for a small amount of mayo after all this? Did she take off money for the bun and mayo that my freind didn’t want? Heck no! My bun was hard, I had to walk up to the front to get a knife and the meat was not cleaned off the bone properly. I had big straps of the hard outside of the pork in my sandwich which was very difficult to chew. … The experience was not pleasant. I cannot believe they have been in business for as long as they have. Won’t go there again and sure won’t recommend this place to my friends…

Inconsistent food and service. Seem to run out of items frequently. Also not sure of the hygiene standards. Probably need to try this place a couple more times, but haven’t found myself wanting to go back.

Okay so went here for a birthday party and that was planned in advance and they were out of everything. The only thing they had was rib tips and those loaded potato plate things that look soooo gross. I ordered the rib tips. Everything came out on plastic plates. All I could think about is the food being so hot and melting the plastic not only that but how toxic could that be. I ordered the sweet tea… OMG they have no idea what sweet tea is. They made regular tea and put sugar in it. Nope disgusting! Overall the food was not good they only had a limited menu the prices were okay but if your okay with eating on plastic plates and watered down drinks I guess it works out.

Simply put: great food at reasonable prices. I had the pulled pork sandwich and it was an artful iteration of a timeless classic. The meat was SO tender, the ratio of slaw-bbq sauce-meat was on point. My boyfriend had the special of the day which was a kielbasa cheddar sandwich thing. I know he really enjoyed it because he kept talking about it, but I honestly sort of tuned him out because I was too focused on my pulled pork induced ecstasy. The service was also worth mentioning; the woman who took our orders and ran the front of house was super friendly and invested in our customer experience. She seemed really open to constructive criticism — too bad we didn’t have any!

Dang, I so want to 5-star this place and if I’d written this review 5 years ago I would have given it 6 stars. Yes, I would have learned how to use a computer, taken a hacking class, hacked into Unilocal and changed the option for this BBQ joint to offer a 6-star review. Alas, things have changed. The first time we visited the owner was there and was very involved and enthusiastic as any pit boss should be. He gave me, my son, and my GF each a FREE beef rib to try as we waited for our meal. He had much to be proud of. Yum! The guy in the kitchen(a tattooed 20-something) seemed to share the passion. Passion is a MUST for a BBQ place! There is too much time involved to just go through the motions. In the following years they seem to have acquired a staff that is pleasant but seem to be just doing a job. It is sad. I really DO like the food here but BBQ is a sacred meal. BBQ is an art form and a religion and when I go into a BBQ place I want to be able to talk smoke with the cook. I want them to brag the place up. Don’t get me wrong, I love this place! I always order the chopped chicken sandwich. It is usually moist, perfectly smoked, and served on a cheddar Kaiser roll, NOT a soggy hamburger bun like so many Northwest BBQ establishments seem to serve. It is topped with slaw which is good for balancing the spiciness of their spicy sauce. I order the spicy. On one of my first visits, when he still worked there, I asked the 20-something dude how spicy I could get the sauce. He replied, «I can make it stupid-hot for you.» I asked for it «Stupid-hot» and was suffering the whole day. That is a win in MY book! But, as I have said, things have changed. The food is above average. I eat here several times a year. I like the food but there is no WOW factor. It’s just good BBQ. I have to say that a good BBQ joint WILL run out of brisket or pork ribs or whatever. It takes hours and hours to perfectly smoke fall-off-the-bones meat. Don’t complain about that, folks. That means their food is good and people want it. It is 4-star food with 3-star enthusiasm. If the owner were there chomping gum like Pete Caroll and high-fiving the team as they spiked the game-winning brisket I would indeed hack the system and 6-star them. The food is good. It is really good!!! I simply hold BBQ restaurants to an EXTREMELY high standard. It HAS to be hands on. It’s not all about the food. — — — — — — — — — — — — — — - UPDATED: That was my review 6 months ago. I went back once with my son. I asked for their spicy BBQ sauce. They said they no longer make it. Remove a star. Went back today. Their special was brisket nachos. My GF ordered a brisket sandwich. They had to check to see if there was any brisket left. This was 40MINUTESAFTER they opened. I ordered a chicken sandwich. They had no chicken. As I said, a good BBQ joint will run out of items. That’s OK if it’s 6pm. This was 12:40pm. They didn’t sell all their chicken; they didn’t make any. I will not go back.

Eesh. 24 hours later and I’m still recovering from terrible indigestion that kept me up all night. Closed for a month due to the cook and server quitting, we were there for their first day open again. I think I can see why they had to rehire. Maybe Gordon Ramsay’s TV crew should pay them a visit? The owner and manager sat around doing nothing but chat to the customers, while they visually got frustrated by the new girl on the job. The new girl was clearly nonplussed to be there as well. We ordered the brisket, one of only two options available mid-day. I think it was old and reheated, because it was tough. Tough and flavorless brisket? I can’t even see how that could happen. I am a big fan of spice. Heck, I have an entire shelf in my fridge dedicated to a wide variety of hot sauces. But my first bite of sauce with brisket surprisingly burned my mouth to the point that I couldnt enjoy the rest of my meal. I had to scrape the sauce of, which meant that I had to eat the tough flavorless beef on its own. Blasé. As for the sides… the mashed potatoes were from a box(with some bacon thrown in) and the baked beans were cold. Tasty but cold. We laughed at our experience until a couple hours later when my stomach was gurgling like a beast. I woke up at 3am with the worst digestion I have ever had. Pain way beyond discomfort. I still feel out of sorts and feel like it will take a while to heal. Change what I thought was going to be a 2-star review to 1. Sigh.

Seriously!!! Closed on a Saturday night? Wow way to keep customers. We too have been trying eat here… Another local restaurant will be happy to feed us. Sadly we will not try to come back here. Quality has declined over the years. Customer service apparently does not exist.

I’ve attempted to go to this place four times in the last couple weeks and they’ve been closed. No one answers the phone, no sign on the door and no update on the thing they call a website. This place has amazing food… It’s very frustrating to plan on lunch and then get let down four times. The chef of this place does great work but they obviously need someone to manage it. This would be a five star place if they would get their s*** together

Huh, closed on a saturday night at 6:30, confused?!? Hours posted said open till 8:00, too bad, looks good on Unilocal… Well I figured out the mystery. Its not Sticky Fingers, its Big Sticky’s, not part of the chain as indicated on Unilocal. And they aren’t open at night, so I don’t know if their food is fantastic, but I’ll try to get there when its open. Change the title of the restaurant please, and post the hours.

Found this little gem on our way back from the Washington Ferry. We were super hungry and happy to stop in for a late lunch. It’s now actually called Big Sticky’s Bbq! This restaurant is a straight up mom and pop type establishment. Nothing fancy about it, which I liked. It’s nice and clean. Juanita was our server and she was super nice! You order at the counter and they bring it to your table. We enjoyed everything that we ordered: –Brisket: nice and tender thick cuts of meat –Pulled pork: also cooked well, very tender –Ribs: Fyi, it is smothered in sauce. If you do not like too much sauce maybe ask them to put it on the side. The ribs are not fall off the bone but tender enough to rip the meat off with your teeth or fork. All the plates are good size portion of meat, it comes with a side and a piece of cornbread. Thanks again Unilocalers for your tips cause the day that we stopped in there was no mention of any pies being on the menu or the dry erase board. Since we were chatting with Juanita I asked her about the pies and she said she literally just took it off of the board because she only had 1 slice left. Thank goodness we asked cause that day she had 1 slice of her key lime pie. It was super good! I’ve had a fair share of key lime pies and Juanita’s homemade pie was smooth and creamy. Not overly tart and not super sweet either. I wish she had a whole pie cause I would’ve bought one! Since we were headed to a family party we decided to take some bbq from Sticky’s to the party. Our family who actually lives in Seattle absolutely loved the bbq from this establishment too. They said they’ve been looking for some good old bbq that was not all commercialized in a chain restaurant. If we are back in the area we’d definitely make our way out here, especially cause the casino is right across the freeway! Restrooms: One shared bathroom. It was clean and stocked.

This place is f*cking fantastic! The meat is tender, juicy, and smothered in the best dang sauce this side of the Rocky Mountains. I am from the deep South, on the other side of Memphis, and I am head over heels in love with this place. I won’t be going anywhere else, ever again. The brisket is to die for, and if you want to know what heaven on earth tastes like, order the spud bomb! It’s enough food to feed a family of five, and not be hungry afterwards. The folks here are like gold too! Very genuine, hard working, funny, salt of the earth folks. The guy behind the grill is an artist, and his art just so happens to be edible! So far we’ve tried the brisket, the spud bomb, the garlic potatoes, the chicken, the coleslaw, and beans. It’s all divine! Today we went out of our way for the spud bomb again, and weren’t disappointed. I even brought some home, and can’t wait until everyone goes to bed, so I can finish it by myself, in the dark. Lol. Do yourself a favor, run, don’t walk to this religious experience!

This place is instantly at the top of my list for outstanding BBQ. The place is small and not exactly visually pleasing, but who cares when the meat is this good? I had a little of everything and it was all good. My favorites were the ribs(amazing smoke) and the brisket which is so tender it nearly melts in your mouth. The sauce is a little on the sweet side but they provide a decent habenero hot sauce if you need the heat.

Can you please be open 7 days a week, all day? No? Ugh. I cannot tell you how many times the family and I tried to come here only to find out it was the one day they are closed. We are *that* good at planning that it seems we always wanted BBQ on mondays. D’oh. Finally making it in(not on a monday) we were pleased with the hostess. She greeted us and explained how the whole place worked and that we weren’t the only one who tried to come in when they were closed. We went for the pulled pork sandwiches and sides. Oh heaven. It came with a big cheesy bun that was soft and fresh, piled high with moist and flavorful meat and sauce with a bit of coleslaw on top. Messy, but delicious. The garlic potatoes? Hello. Amazing and full of flavor. There was not a complaint heard throughout our table, in fact I don’t think we said much with our mouths full of this BBQ delight. When I come back, oh yes I will, I might actually try something not in a sandwich. But, I wouldn’t hold your breath. OH! Just like any other authentic BBQ place, they do run out of things as the day progresses. If you find they are out of something, I can assure you that you won’t be disappointed with anything else on the menu.

I have to say, hands down the best BBQ I have ever had! The portions were massive, the sauce was the perfect balance of sweet and spicy. The coleslaw was perfect, most places are too sweet and watery. The gal working was super sweet.
