Chino did my tattoo, ITISJESSICARABBIT and it is spectacular. I have won two awards for it and he is ALWAYS welcoming and professional. For those that are absolutely DUMB in the world of body art, it is NOTTHETATTOOARTISTSJOBTOHOLDYOURHANDANDBEYOURFRIEND, THEYDONOTNEEDTOBESWEETTOYOU, THEYNEEDTODO A GREATJOBATGIVINGYOUTHETATTOOYOUCAMEINFOR. MICHELANGELOWASNOTKIND, NORWASDAVINCI. THEYAREARTISTS, LETTHEMBEECCENTRIC. HOWABOUTREVIEWINGWHATMATTERS, THEART!!! WHICHALLOFYOU, have done with positive remarks… What a bunch of god damn children. If you’re looking for a tattoo from your friend, go get one from him on your couch and spend your life regretting it every time you look down… Jesus Christ, enough whining. You’re supposed to be adults.

Been there three times and I gotta say the owner is a total prick. He is abusive to his employees to the point that I’m surprised they still work there. I will say the shop is nice and looks professional but thats as far as the professionalism goes. A little attitude in a tattoo shop is expected but this guy is so egotistical and full of his self and yet completely insecure at the same time. His work is not impressive at all and lacks real depth, dimension, and detail. It comes across looking like a coloring book picture. In the tattoo world confidence in ones work is to be expected but this guy lacks confidence so much so that he has replaced confidence with a really bad attitude. If you ask any questions that he doesn’t like(or doesn’t know the answer to) he will totally belittle you in front of everyone, for no reason other than his own self-gratification. Funny thing is by acting that way he’s killing what really could be a great tattoo shop, not because of his talent but because of the talent of the others who have the misfortune to work for him. If you question why he comes across that way he will snidely say it’s because you dont get his sarcastic humor. I think it’s only funny to him though as no one else in the shop is laughing. The guys who work for him look like they are all right at thier breaking point from his abuse. So many people wish Ian would grow a set of balls and move out of that place. So many people avoid going to Ian for the simple fact that they cant stand Kerry. Its a shame too as Ian is a very talented artist capable of so much more if he were to get out from under Kerry’s misguided attitude and bullshit. Kerry literally takes money out of his employees pockets by his uneeded drama and demeanor, the sad part is that its also his pockets that suffer. So, don’t wast your time going there, unless you like to be belittled and abused for the amusement of someone else. There are far better tattooists in town who really«get» what tattooing is all about. In the tattoo world it’s about true art, raw talent, and a sense of belonging to a «family» of people who appreciate body art. You should want to feel a connection to the artist who is working on you and you should feel like they understand you and appreciate the meaning behind piece you are getting and why you are getting it. Kerry is so full of his self that he doesnt care what the client wants, its all about what he wants to put on them. It’s a shame because maybe if he were to curb the attitude and soften his heart a little he could really be a thousand times better at his work. Its funny though that he seriously thinks he has to adopt this fake assed attitude and persona in order to be in the tattoo world. The sad part though is that he probably looses so much business because of it and even sadder is that he is so full of his self that he doesnt care. He could probably really benefit from some counseling or anger management classes cause something is definately not right with the guy.

The tattoos you get here are spectacular — good inks, beautiful styles, very professional artists, very clean store. Downside is you must know exactly what you want, or at least have a very good visual idea of what you want. The artists tend to be on the arrogant side, but hey, talent can do that to you. They also are on the pricey side. But as I said, the work is impeccable. I had an original tattoo done and the artist worked with me very closely to come up with what I had in mind. It came out perfectly and I constantly get compliments on it. My second tattoo was sort of a «standard» design and the artist(a different one from the first) was a bit on the snobbish side about it, but I told him it was my tat and my body. After that, we were fine and once again I received a beautifully done tattoo. I do recommend the Cherry Bomb because despite the small displays of arrogance, they are artists and are very professional and keep the shop and their equipment extremely clean.

A friend of mine advised me to visit this place to get a memorial tattoo for my mother. When I walked in I asked for the artist she recommended. Heavily tattooed with some pretty cool art he asked what I wanted. I advised him that I wanted a tribal sort of tattoo symbolizing the«spirit» my mother left behind. He was very arrogant and went on to say that he doesn’t like tribal. He would do it, but he doesn’t like doing it, that it is boring. He talked quite a bit about himself, and his favorite style of tattoos, etc. He advised me of his prices(which were a little on the high side) and asked me to give him what I thought was a fairly lengthy amount of time to sketch something up. Needless to say, I didn’t return. I feel in this business your attitude has a lot to do with the satisfaction of your customers, and his stunk. Don’t think I would have been too satisfied. On a side note: The tats my friend got here are gorgeous. They sling good ink… That is the reason for the three stars.
