Yummy yummy in my tummy! I have made yet another trip to Java Detour and left with an undeniable smile. Absolutely delicious frappé and creamy shakes. Deliciousness has never known such a face. Stop by and have a shake, you will not be disappointed.

I am very picky about my coffee. I like it black, no sugar, as I want to taste the coffee, not the flavorings. Java Detour consistently brews a very decent cup of coffee and I have had only pleasant and friendly service. Best place around for drive through coffee.

Java Detour is a chain drive-​thru coffee kiosk in downtown Lincoln. Found via the trusty Unilocal app whilst errantly driving streets and sidewalks. Luckily, no hydrants struck, no injuries.
You’ll get a quick cuppajoe with the option of a microwave-​warmed sandwich or pastry. Decent coffee and food — not bad for a quick road stop!

Meh. Not bad, not good. Looks much cuter in the picture than it did in real life.
Friendly service, but they were out of a lot of the food I tried to order.

Best coffee around. Seriously! I wish they had a indoor restaurant place though. You can’t get better coffee though, it really is the best. Get a salted carmel late, you’re welcome!

Soooo not impressed… they are rude, inaccurate, no punch card or rewards card and no military discount! I always give a place 3 chances and this place bombed all 3 times… go somewhere else!

I have never been a fan of coffee but started visiting Java Detour a few years back for smoothies. This last holiday season I had a gingerbread chai tea! Hooked doesn’t even begin to describe this yummy goodness! In a pinch I went to SB and ordered a specialty made gingerbread chai tea… utter fail… they can’t hold a candle to Java Detour in my book!
