I tried taco time for the first time. I’m being generous with the second star. I should have gone to taco bell. the cashier was pleasant. she earned a star for this place. the food, I ordered a #1 combo, which is a beef burrito, pretty much all it was, with a little cheese. the burrito was dry, bland and not good. I chose the chicken chilli for my side. I forced myself to take a bite, to give it a chance. the chicken does not look at all appealing, I skipped the chicken and tried it. the beans were not cooked and once again, tasteless. Now, I’m hungry and out $ 10.00. next time I want fast food of this style, I will go to taco bell, half the price and ten times the taste. I recommend skipping this place. I wish I would have gone to one of the stand alone family owned taco shops. I will not ever return to taco time.

Great customer service! I have always had a great experience here with good food and what I’d expect from a Taco Time.

Well typically Taco Time is my go to when I want a Taco Salad for a meal. It’s a lot quicker than me having to make the meat and prep it if you ask me! Well normally the ones I go to are fantastic! The customer service is the best and the food is great! However this place is not the case! I’ve come here a few times now and think driving the extra miles up North to the next one is what I will do from now on. Not only did I get what you could call a taco salad. The person didn’t want to refill the ranch so she only put a little on and the tomatoes were so small! Just was not happy this time and the time before was lacking with enthusiasm. I’ll go to the next one from now on…

Dirty dirty dirty, this is by far the worst kept taco time ever. The food was still okay but every table literally every table was dirty. Had to let the workers kn ok kw they needed to clean. mcdonalds next door I’m sure is cleaner. Told the manager and their response was the person who cleans is at their lunch break and when they get back they will clean them. Gross

I had minimal time to get dinner for me and my coworker, I ordered 2 chicken taco salads and the wait began… I watched car after car come thru the drive thru while I was left standing in an empty lobby waiting on my food… but at least the entertainment and side comments from the cook were helpful in my decission to not eat there again when I heard the only person actually working tell his coworker, that he didnt think the tomatoes were fit for using… Out of the 5 employees I saw working, only the male cook and 1 other young girl were actually working while another worker was yelling orders from the back, but not offering any team work. Needless to say 30 mins later, and late I am back at work and the taco salad is pretty good, minus the contaminated tomatoes I took off, just in case

Surprised by some of the negative reviews. We had fast, friendly, efficient service. Ate inside, it was clean. Food was hot, fresh and tasty.

I’m not sure you can consider it «fast food» anymore when it takes 30 minutes to make it through the drive thru. There were only about 5 cars in front of us and the wait after we ordered was nearly 30 minutes, then to top it off, the girl at the window did nothing to apologize. I will not be returning to this location.

Ugh. This location is super ran down in terms of appearance. Half the booth seats are ripped or torn and not repaired. It is not dirty in here but it is not clean either, just meh. No pride in upkeep at all. Not the Taco Time that I am used to. They had a lot of staff on hand and there was only one other person in the place at dinner time… that says something. The guy that helped us out seemed to be more interested in the paper that he was reading then listening to our order… I am not sure if he was new and was trying to make sure he got everything right or what but when you pause after everything I say and look uninterested… that is an issue. Mexi fries were old and not very hot. Yes, I could have taken them back up but ugh. Son and Husband both said there food was fine. I would not go out of my way to come back to this location. I guess I expect more especially with the prices they charge.

How I heard of this place: When I first moved to Seattle, a good friend of mine — also a vegetarian — often had a hankering for Taco Time’s fried bean burrito. After numerous drive-thru ventures, I finally had to sample it for myself. While good, it took us years and National Taco Day(free tacos!) to make our way back in. Type of cuisine: «TacoTime is an upscale quick service restaurant chain that specializes in freshly prepared, home-style Mexican fare. We offer quality fresh ingredients in large portions with a unique blend of spices. TacoTime is known for our world famous hand rolled Crisp Burritos along with our crispy Mexi-Fries. Our customers love our enchilada-style Casita Burrito, our delicious Crisp Tacos and our rich fruit-filled empanadas. We truly believe that real ingredients make better food!» Ambiance: Following suit of other fast food chains across the nation, Taco Time’s pastel interiors, tiled floors, pleather booths and plastic scoop back chairs are reminiscent of early childhood road trips and stopping to eat at marbled laminate tables with my family. What I ordered: A simple crisp, beef taco($ 1.69). Times two. One for me. One for my hubby. What I loved: Fresh, crispy lettuce and yummy cheddar cheese. Why I loved it: Simple. Free. Cost: Low to average($ 1.49 — $ 6.89 per taco/burrito)

The food at this Taco Time was good: nothing out of the ordinary for Taco Time. We usually get the baja taco, which is off their«fit hit» menu and is less than 200 calories. The other usual item for us is the white chicken chili, which is really hearty with chicken chunks and white and black beans. It’s also on the fit hit menu. Their new corn chowder is surprisingly good. It’s rich and creamy with sweet crispy corn kernels. You can also add chicken to it for 50 cents. My concern with this location was the overall appearance and upkeep. At first glance, the floors needed a good mopping, and the fixtures were dusty. As I went to sit down, the booth seats were ripped and popped, with an unsuccessful attempt at duct taping the holes. I couldn’t find a booth I felt ok about sitting at. If a restaurant isn’t able to perform normal upkeep, it makes me wonder what other things are falling to the wayside.

OMG. Horrible. We don’t have these on the East Coast, so we decided to try it after seeing all the signs at every exit on I-5. We figured it had to at least be as good as Taco Bell given that there are so many. NOPE! Not even close! The food was bland, no flavor at all. Highly caloric for no reason other than just using dumb ingredients and putting way too much cheese and sour cream on everything. My weird chimichanga/flauta thing was disgusting. The ground chicken taco was a little better. Everything else we tried was mostly gross, and the décor in the place was sooooo outdated and dingy. They only get one star for having(A) a Coke remix machine and(B) tater tots with the meals. Otherwise, I’d magically have to invent a way to do zero-star reviews.

I was very unhappy with how long it took to get my food. In the five minutes I waited at the drive thru window, 4 different employees just sat there gossiping. Finally, one turned around and started working on my food, only to be constantly distracted by the other employees who apparently felt that it was more important to talk and laugh then to serve the customers.

I grew up on Taco Time and was excited to eat there on a recent trip to Washington. Yuck. The beef had no flavor and my «mexi fries» were flavorless attorney tots, many of them somehow smooshed. The taco sauce had a little heat, but no flavor. I had been raving about Taco Time to my bf… But was so embarrassed. Again, yuck.

This must be a corporate store because the prices here are much higher than the other 3 locations I go to in the Portland/Vancouver area(which I love and frequent often). My $ 2.30 soft taco becomes $ 4.59 here! The food does not seem fresh, either. And why is there no sour cream? This makes no sense to me at all. Instead they offer something called Baja sauce, which is just ranch dressing. Not good in a taco. The meat is minimal, which is okay because it is basically mush. Also, the service is slow.

It’s two days later and my mouth is still dehydrated from the salt. The beef filling had no taste except salt. The sauces were salty. The beans were salty. The enchilada plate was salty. The fish taco was the only edible item. The prices are way over the top. Six people could eat at a Taco Bell for what two of us paid here, if we could of eaten the food. Run, don’t walk to another place, any place.

Is this the location very close to I-5? If so, I gotta hit you with a big stick because your veggie soft taco for lunch on Sunday gave me a touch of the food poisoning. — — — –also, there was WAY too much white sauce(of some kind) inside. I ate the taco anyway, because I was so starving. Maybe the sauce was what led to the sickness a few hours later. Sorry. I need to give my GI tract a break and just say no.

Taco Time Guy: Sorry, you would have gotten your order faster, but I dropped it on the floor… Me to TTG: *Slightly Confused* It’s ok, thanks… Me to friend: Wait, did he say he actually made me a new taco???
