Very disappointed and have not even had a lesson yet. I purchased a Groupon in hopes of getting back into dance after taking years off and trying to schedule a lesson with this place seems impossible. I’ve been trying 2 weeks to schedule a lesson. I’ve left total of 3 messages asking for a lesson this week and no return phone call, so I guess the lesson is not happening. I cannot return the Groupon because I’m pass the 3 day mark. Incredibly disappointed. I wanted to try the studio since I’m looking for a new one after Fred Astaire shut down. I hope everyone else has better luck with getting a response. I love to support small businesses but not at the expense of being treated like I don’t matter.

We Grouponed our way into this hidden gem. Don’t let appearances fool you. The location is definitely not glitzy but the place serves it’s purpose. The staff is amazing and definitely does a good job of explaining every dance step down to the smallest of details.

I have always had an interest in learning some basic ballroom type of dances. I took advantage of a coupon I had to check out Fred Astaire. They have a beautiful new facility in Matthews. The «ballroom» is so pretty, clean and just lovely wooden floors.
The staff is knowledgeable and friendly. I really never felt uncomfortable at all and I ended up booking a few more classes after I used up my coupon. In just two classes I can now do basic Tango steps and am looking forward to more in depth training in the future.
Very nice, professional, clean and a really enjoyable experience. I can’t say enough good things about them!
