We had a great experience on a sleigh ride here. I was slightly hesitant to call after reading some of the reviews about the owner, but she was very nice. She even offered to take our photo a few times, which I really appreciated. There is hot chocolate beforehand and a bonfire afterwards if interested. We were in the area for 4 days and it was the highlight of our trip. Don’t know the next time we will get to go on a sleigh ride, so it’s a fun memory we will cherish forever.

This was my second trip to this Ranch… each time I have been here the owner was extremely rude and disrespectful to her staff. She treated them like kids and yelled at them in front of us. It’s very unprofessional and made our group feel very awkward being there. I suggest for the price you pay; go somewhere else.

WOW! Red Ridge Ranch is an awesome place to visit. It is VERY worth the short drive from the Dells. So many positives to say: great staff, amazing price, knowledgeable guide, beautiful ride, and awesome horses. This definitely goes on the list to do again! If you’re in the Dells, this is the place to come ride!

I was not impressed with this place at all. The owner was very rude. Was talking on her phone more than she was trying to help us. She kept giving us attitude. She was even rude to her workers, right in front of us. The place wasn’t very well maintained. I will never go back to this place again. It is way over priced for the way that you are treated!

Awesome visit today! We were visiting the Dells and most businesses were still closed. So after searching for something to do for a group of 6. We found this place. We had 4 kids from 8 to 13 years of age and everyone had a blast! They have treats for sale to feed the horses. Horseshoes also for sale. Totally no pressure to buy any of them. We bought both. Trail guide was awesome(I want to say his name was Kyle) horses were very easy to ride. Trail was serene, a couple small hills. It was a very enjoying ride. Weather was perfect! Would definitely visit here again. They have all kinds of stuff going on here year round. From camping for a day, weekend and week long, Halloween hay rides and even sleigh rides in winter. Totally worth every the drive! Didn’t hear one kid say«I’m bored» that’s a win in my book! Kids already asking when we can do it again.

At Red Ridge, the horses seemed well kept, and the staff were friendly. The brochure said that it was the«most scenic route» but the trails were nothing special. The trails were pretty flat, which was ok for just riding with our family, but it might have been better if the trails were a little more uneven. We got there, and within 10 minutes, we were getting on horses. One thing that we didn’t like was that the owner kept on trying to convince us that we should buy horse treats. We were going to buy them anyway, for our kids, but it was a little annoying that she was trying to pressure us into buying $ 5 horse treats. Overall, it was a fun thing to do on our family trip to Wisconsin Dells.

I came across this place while trying to find a stable that was open in March. I lucked out. This place was amazing. The guide was friendly and was answering questions my 12 year old daughter had… Like, how many cats do u have and how old are the horses. The guide even explained how the horses were related. We were able to buy a large bag of horse treats so we could feed the horses and we were allowed in the barn to play with the barn cats and feed the horses inside the barn. This place is a must go on our list when we come back in the summer.
