They have a decent selection of baby clothes but service is just A-​OK. Getting help is hard especially if you have to request someone to look in the back room for a particular size.

I was extremely caught off guard by the service I experienced tonight. As someone who worked in retail through college and has worked midnight madness, I get it! It sucks! But you put on your happy face and get a little holiday cheer and move forward because it’s a part of the retail world. When we were there, the line was as slow as can be. The line was maybe 10 paying-​customer long and I waited 40+ minutes to get to one of the 3 registers which is ridiculous. When I asked if there was a problem with the register I got an attitude from the girl in line taking the hangers. The women in front of me also asked what was taking so long and the girl snapped at her saying «all three of my registers are open and they’re actually moving very quickly.» Her tone was defensive and rude! Then, I got to the register and Yamila (yes this experience bothered me so much that I wrote down her name) was ringing me up. She had the worst attitude I’ve ever experienced. I asked if she could scan an item I found on the sales rack since the price was not marked. She explained to me in a tone that suggested that she wasn’t interested in scanning the item for me that she would have to scan it like she was beginning a transaction. I told her that yes I would like her to do that and she rolled her eyes! Then she asked if I wanted to join their rewards program. I politely said no thanks since I do not have children and don’t shop there often. She responded by saying «pff um ooookay» HOW RUDE! Then she went to go get my gift box I requested while muttering something about me to her coworker under her breath. The interaction with the staff, as you can see, was less than what you expect from a high end children’s clothing boutique. In fact, if I had children, I certainly wouldn’t want them seeing the way these employees act! I will never come back and will probably call corporate in the morning!

1 star for 1 cashier who didn’t know what she was doing, and 3 other employees walking around folding stuff while people wait in line for 10+ minutes.

I totally LOVE Gymboree. They have cute clothes for both little boys and girls. I have found that generally it is harder to find cute clothes for boys… but Gymboree always tons of cute things for boys! I visited this location last week and there was lots of cute clothes to choose from. Yes, their clothes are a little pricey, but they are really nice quality and I usually wait for the sales!
