My mistake. This review is for the Laredo location.
It was packed but no wait time. There was a lot of seating space but not overly crowded. Our waitress was quick and courteous. My burger was delicious. The bread was a little soft and soggy but that didn’t take away from the burger itself. I think the price is reasonable for the most part. I really enjoyed the surprise show the staff did. Overall, I’m impressed and thoroughly enjoyed my time there. I definitely recommend you visit. I know I’ll be back soon.

Shakes are horrible, they use a pre mix, not made in house or anything special. Customer service was very bad. We have been to the Johnny Rockets in Orlando and the employees would do some dancing and the Orlando location was a lot of fun. This location in McAllen was very bad. We asked about the dancing and the employee kind of laughed and said that they do not do the dancing at the McAlen location. The burgers were not that great, overall a bad experience, the fries are horrible, they tasted like frozen fries you get at HEB. We did notice the managers sitting together eating and having a great time. Not sure how long this place will be in business.

I fucking love this place. They have the best French fries in the earth. And the burgers are delicious. The environment are awesome and the service was great I really love this place.

It’s ok. The place is small so the seating sucks. The Malts were pretty, the burger so, so. Overall ²⁄₅

We love this restaurant and eat here about 2xs a month. The meat is very fresh and a nice size. Our favorite is the Smokehouse Double. Order extra sauce for your fries. Also every meal comes with free refills of fries. The shakes are really good as well. If you go during the week between 4 – 7 kids eat free. Be careful what you order as when you get this deal they don’t allow more than one deal at a time so ask questions ahead of time if you seek to save money. The place is beautiful and really clean.

Food is not that good and they have bad customer service. The management never checks on customers, they are always in the back or in the corner eating.

On a quiet Thursday evening this place was almost empty. However, that did not ensure prompt service. Did not get my drink until I finally got my burger. I assume that was to limit the possibility of refills? No real complaint about the food but WHY does the plate have to be so small? And I have to ask for napkins? Apart from the young guy working the tables the rest of the staff appeared to be more interested in chatting up the two girls nursing cokes at the bar. Yeah, they are better looking than me. But THAT IS NOT YOUR JOB!!!

The most AWESOME shakes in the world. I take the family here before I even think of Diary Queen.

Great burgers and fries. This place needs to open another location in north mcallen or Edinburg. Shakes are delicious.

First time here, walked in the door and stuck to the floor! Gross. DO NOT get the grilled chicken salad, the chicken was terrible, straight out of a microwave and but not enough to be warm. Also you have to beg and continually ask if you want salad dressing.
Note it’s all teenagers working here so of course the service reflects that. My family said the burgers were good but the portion of fries they serve is small.
It seemed overcrowded and claustrophobic to me, though the old music and dancing was cute. (Except for the disco music, that was just weird)

Customer service has improved. Staff needs to be Friendlier. The burgers are very good and filling, tenders are below average. Overall experience has improved love the look of the place.

Horrible Service. Food took over 40 minutes to come out. Never got any refills. Had to flag down the waitress everytime we needed something. Never going there again. Do not recommend it at all.

Good good good food and awesome shakes. First time i came on my lunch break from best buy (30 mins) and it was much to slow. This time it was good and fast enough. Come in dressed retro!

The burgers are good but aren’t worth the price. They come out on small, beige, melamine plates with only a handful of fries. The fries are supposed to be ‘unlimited’ but I guess you have to ask if you want more. The drinks were not refilled either, unless we asked.
The waiters are all teenagers. We had the best one of the bunch but even he was too busy to really do a good job. And what is with the smiley faces that the waiters draw with ketchup on the bottoms of the little bowls? Really? Is that supposed to help me enjoy my overpriced burger? No smiley face for me but I’d like more fries, please.
And be wary of the juke box-​type song selectors at each booth and at the counter. They should be free (especially considering that the burgers cost around $ 7 and up) but they cost a nickel per song. Then, after you make your selections, good luck in actually hearing your songs. Either they don’t play your song at all or the song plays so softly that you may not hear it above the voices in the restaurant. The only song played at a good volume was «Rockin’ Robin.» That is the song the waiters (half-​heartedly) dance to.
This place is a tourist-​trap.

The service can certainly improve. Management seems scatter brain but staff try hard. Been there 4 times. It seems to be improving however we really enjoy the food. Burgers are great.
