My wife is addicted to the Tlacoyos and spinach tortillas at this stall at the McAllen Farmer’s Market. They have these tlacoyos stuffed with bean, cheese, chorizo, jalapeño and other goodies. Their tortillas come in spinach, nopal, chipotle, habanero, flax seed and cilantro.
They also have interior style tamales beans, chicken with mole, spinach, mushrooms, etc… They have Veracruzanos, Oaxaqueño and yucateco style tamales.
They are all natural, no lard, no preservatives and all hand made. Worth a trip to the library. They are also at the Pharrmer’s Market in Pharr on thursdays.
